M20B25 G260 works with a modified gearbox cross member and modified selector shaft... that's the way I'm doing it.

Red, couldn't find anything when googling the numbers. Seemed to ride ok... car had f**ked suspension so wasn't exactly the pinnacle of the experience. Some pictures... Yeah unless you could get it for 1/2 of that... Brent may know if you could just use a different gearbox. but I'd say you'd need the Correct gearbox for the M50 + a Driveshaft to suit. Or can you modify the selector arm like when you use a G260 in an E30 M5x? The major issue is nobody will usually split just the driveshaft, or just the gearbox.

Remember that that's an M20 powered one so the gearbox/driveshaft might not suit an M50. Bog stock E34's really have nothing useful at all in them...

The PDF is a little more useful than the crazy website which seems to state a pile of things then say another pile. http://www.penriteoil.com.au/pis_pdfs/5HPR...June%202013.pdf the variances might be the fact there was an old HPR5 before it all became "full synthetic" Probably is just marketing, but it's a good price for what it offers.

Penrite HPR 5 will do both those things.. (and it's regularly on special for around $50 per 5L) they even claim on their website it's BMW/Mercedes warranty approved.

I have a full M10B18 from an E30, if that's what you are looking for? It seemed to run fine with no issues when the car was complete before it's dismantling.

I'd go for the latest E34 M50 w/Manual I could find... the M50 is such a good unit. unfortunately they are not that fast, a bit thirsty because they are a bit heavy.... I have an E34 M50 Touring /Auto and it's thirsty as hell. Slow though... (but has 100kg+ on the sedan)

My E34 Touring sat at a car dealers yard (probably with rip off pricing on it) for 4 years. Some dealers are far too arrogant to even realize what they are selling.
