You'll want the stalk too. the early stalks can be modified easy to work with the later cars. only thing I couldn't be bothered with is the horn for the OBC, which just means the alarm function has a horn to be all noisy and sh*t which nobody would use anyway. Also the OBC can be installed/removed without removing that panel... it has a little button on the right side of it's housing. the clock housing will have to be either replaced with the OBC panel or just get a wee hacksaw blade and cut the back of it off to accommodate the (larger) OBC. I think I had to splice a wire or something, but nothing too hard.

The heater core doesn't look too bad to do on these. it's about $300 us or something to get from Pelican. but you need to eye-ball it to make sure it's the right kind. Does it have a catalitic? mine doesn't.

My cabin air filter made the AC/Heater stink also. Doesn't stink any more. Mine also mists when you leave the AC on and park the car for short amounts of time (could be the moisture on the evaporator??)

I spoke to a Certifier, and he said I'd need a hoop (seriously wtf for though) but not a brake upgrade. Just as long as the rotors and pads looked good.

I personally like to bag on car dealers that have no idea what they are selling. Because certain car dealers really annoy me.

also my hatch wiring is utterly destroyed... when I got the car someone had had a go at fixing it already. I had another go but it didn't last long as I used some wire from Jaycar, when I really needed something better. I've got a selection of used E30 harness which I'm going to use. Unless you want to spend like 150usd per side on brand new stuff...

Have a look behind that black plastic cover in the center console... there's an option for a rear seat ciggy lighter. the wires for mine were just sitting there... tapped that with a $5 lighter socket from Jaycar and I can charge my phone using that one instead of opening the annoying drawer.

Get some black plastidip to do the grills and towbar. That way you can remove it if you hate it. I personally like the chrome.also look up shadow line trim it suits some colours. My E34 is white so the chrome is nice. PS... I'm 23 LOL. DON'T SELL IT TO ANY MORONS EVER.

The best one is that E34 ripping a huge skid in the middle of the street. looked like the exhaust was on fire afterwards.

I had a bit of a think on the way home from work this morning. seems to miss at random, was even doing it in 3rd gear at 1000rpm. Definately want to check the fuel pressure... might even pull the plugs later, if the weather improves.. bloody dad, never spends money on things that need it, needs new shocks too.
