  1. An e34 540i Touring..... On portobello road pulling a trailer... Dark green colour? Do want.
  2. Where did you get this car from? it's not a silver kiwi new one from Invercargill is it?
  3. antil33t

    E36

Not to mention re-bored and porting an m52 sounds like something that won't happen anyway
  4. Doesn't just happen with E38's you can own an E30 and retarded toyota loving patriotic kiwi "mechanics" will shove you off at the first mention of BMW. Also, try Euro Italian or Milland for parts. Euro Italian is a forum sponsor and up north somewhere, where as milland is good for us south people since shipping is almost instant!
  5. No sorry, I swapped them for a set of 6cyl king springs. "low" variant. Would take $200 shipped.. the Jamex springs are bloody low in a 6cyl car haha. Sorry I never replied to your PM, as the day you sent me the PM was the day my mate came around to swap springs, so I wasn't too sure!
  6. If you want to have cheap fun, I'd go E36.
  7. I got a Taiwanese cryomax for like $250.
  8. Yeah you'd want to do the Timing belt, tensioner, camshaft and crankshaft seals and water pump at the same time. Shouldn't cost too much.
  9. Did a bit of work on my Engine loom. Chopped out all the Automatic Transmission parts... Next to chop out anything else unnecessary, but I think pretty much the rest is needed.
  10. Why would you want to buy the least powerful model of the entire range? there's a few 645i's and 650i's on trademe.
  11. M20 Timing belts are easy as pie. be worth doing a few other bits and pieces too in there if you are planning on keeping that engine!
  12. The 20k price hike was for those sweet as sheepskin seat covers.
  13. and one of his mates has all the E34 Touring ever too. Dem guys.
  14. It was probably also due 10 years ago. I can't remember what the time interval on those are, but for M20's it's like xxxkm/6years whatever comes first. What else can an M40 do?
  15. Thought I'd post how I wired in the electric fan in my E34 for future references. this setup requires you to change to an 80/88c Thermoswitch. This allows you to retain your AC fan for AC usage. if you were removing AC entirely it wouldn't matter you could just literally swap the switch then change the fans and plug it in!
  16. My dad just got one of these, Literally this cars twin.. Except a light blue colour, the owner of this car worked with the (ex) owner of dad's car..
