I am a 1 hour point-to-point Courier and sales is down 10-15% from last year here. Some other company down over 25% from what I heard.

Is it any of these part numbers on your mirror?

I once fill the tank to the brim to the point I can see the petrol swirling around from the filler neck. It registered 3/4 full until I've driven around 30km only then it register "full".

Hair drier to warm it up will help, heat gun is ok too but it can get too hot for the paint.

I had a claim once with NAC few years ago, no problems at all. It was someone elses' fault and they have full insurance though. I just need to do a bit of run around for 2 quotes from repair of my choice, fax to them and they will negotiate with the other insurance compant and approved the repair within a few days.

So your after-market alarm only tapped into the normal central locking circuits then, as proper dead locking will lock the fuel door for you (as in the case when you lock with a key). Not sure what's wrong but maybe see you alarm installer and get them to fix it under warranty?

What's the return time from Waikato? Doesn't mention that...

How much did that jar of Bentley stuff set you back? I personally used a Meguiar 2-step leather care or the Pelle system from Farmers. Both good.

You might want to first try pin-point if the factory bits have problem or the aftermarket bit having issue. Does your dead-locking work with your key on both doors? (windows down, lock your car with key then try to open the door from inside) Out of curiousty, does your fuel door lock/unlock with the after-market remote?

Is it the tube routing issue that stop you from using the factory air-duct? (bottom right on your first pix)

Inspect the wire closely to see if any of them are broken/torn. This happen when I had my tints done quite a few years ago, the guy was trimming the tint film inside the car and cut one of the wires.

Condensation maybe? My VW that park outside have very cold or mildly moist seatbelt in the morning as well.

What kind of car is it? What's your age? Any mods? From previous discussions here, it seems.... general daily car - AMI, State, AA track car - Pioneer all else fails - NAC Do check if it's market value cover or a agree value cover. There can be a big difference in payout if the car is totalled.

I've been told almost all BMWs have a "natural lean" when it's driver-less, to compensate for the driver weight when there's someone in there. Don't know how true this is though.

Not true. They can cancel the first one and "upgrade" your ticket to $21 and so on.

Has anyone changed their instrument dashboard lights?

Blue is cool it might be but the orange is definitely easier on the eye for driving at night. I know as I got a VW (blue light ) and BMW (orange light), but hey it's your car. -
So they threw away the celebraty lap and the F1 driver lap board then? That FXX is awesome. The 3-way race is ok, but I gotta ask if old bikes are really that bad to ride? (I don't know much about bike I must admit)

ISOFIX attachment point at the base of seat is standard for rear seat of e46. There was no mention of any hook type anchoring on parcel shelf in the owners manual.

Besides the mod, how's her driving record like? Interestingly, when I bought the e46 318Ti Compact last year, rang AMI told them everything (value of car, mod (none), where it park at night, etc...). Also told them my wife is the main driver and I drive the car on weekend only and I got quoted $9xx. Next day my wife called AMI told them exactly the same thing and she got quoted $6xx. Now that we just bought a 330Ci to replace the Compact and my wife was re-quoted for $7xx, so I didn't even bother calling to try. If anyone know why this is, please enlighten me...

That's some skills. Crazy Koreans.

Last year, I was trying to sort out a billing issue that they charge me around $25 worth of calls which should have been free (BestMate). After an hour I got a my credit but only because customer service got fed up, not because they admit wrong-doing. Last week I had problem with my phoneline, called Telecom 120 (faults). Talked to a human person (almost) straight away, ran some simple tests, next day send out a tech to my house, fixed in 30 minutes. Which is better? You be the judge.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 2004 e46 facelift 330Ci SMG, I am over the moon about it of course. But it always seems to have the fuel overrun sound from the exhaust when I back off the accelarator sharply. I just want to ask and make sure this is normal. Ideas? It's factory exhaust BTW.
