3.89 Those that got 2 are crazy.

Flickering one? Is it yellow? It could be traction control. (ASC+T)

I had my e36 Coupe written off few years ago. The tow truck driver at the time said he've seen his fair share of accidents, and commented if I was in anything Japanese, I would have been hospitalised without doubt. The other car that I hit was a Toyota RAV4, which my BMW has DEMOLISHED the front of. Air bags didn't go off in my case either. I've read that usually you'll need 40-50+ km/h to deemed necessary for deploying the airbags. Needless to say, I've been sticking with Euro cars since. Few pix says more than a thousand words.... Edited for typo

30 million, this gotta be biggest ever jackpot isn't it? I am so in for this week. For those that say you can't win, I'd say to them "to buy a hope".
-
very nice.... sun roof, climate control, sport seats and OBC too.
-
Not quite. As each draw is independent, it would take forever if ever to win one.

Can't stress enough - if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Impressive. But how is this most expensive? I would have thought the E39 M5 ad on the desert would cost a lot to make and the BMW-films series from a few years back would cost BMW heaps too. But this is definitely the biggest static ad. Hopefully those cars ain't real, someone will nick it otherwise.

Just a thought, does the cat like your car because the bonnet is warm? If so, just open the bonnet to let the engine cool down before closing it.

You can go cheap with shoe polish as well if you are so inclined. I've used the Pelle stuff and Meguiar 2-step. They are both very good but Pelle made the leather softer than the Meguiar can. I am not sure if the Pelle one has UV screen in it because it's meant for leather furniture as oppose to automotive. BMW also has their own BMW-branded stuff which has UV screen which (supposedly) helps if the car is parked outside a lot. If the leather gone sticky after application, you might have put on too much of the conditioner. Leather will asorb what it needs into itself and leave the rest on its surface. It didn't go sticky on mine what I used the Pelle before. Like car wax, it's best to have few thin coats applied than one heavy one.

Get the cat wet (somehow) would be the best I'd say. Ambush the sucker with bucket, garden hose and supersoaker.

About 4 years ago I had my D7600 installed for $699 Proximity sensor is saving you to have to push a button to disarm immobiliser if you don't start the car within 40 seconds of disarm the alarm. Also useful if you sit in the car or you are the kind that leave car keys in the car. Because if it detects the "tag" in the key barrel, it won't arm the alarm, save you the embarressment of locking your own keys in. For that to work, you need a habit of keeping the keys in the barrel instead of on the seat/floor/etc... For a aftermarket market to do double lock (dead locking), your sparky will need to build a simple circuit for the alarm to emulate what the factory circuit does. Trigger lock for single lock, unlock for full unlock and both lock and unlock for double lock. (if this make sense to you.) Mind you, I have only read these somewhere, never tried it myself.

A well installed Dynatron D7600/7800 (4 & 5 stars, also without and with battery backup siren respectively) Edit: typo

Price sounds about right I'd say for NZ. If you are going to try overseas, bring proof of ownership for the car in addition of the VIN number. Honestly though, for the savings of less than a tank of fuel, is this worth the hassel?

I don't get the fashion thing at all. Past 10 years I just go out with jeans and Tee. Maybe because I am married. Vote done, and good luck.

They've done quite a lot to keep the book going in the last year or so (the thin giveaway copies and dropped the price of the main book), but still it's sad to see it goes.

That "thing" is usually in Ponsonby during the day, some sort of an ad-agency I think.

If you are not buying original BMW ones, just make sure the battery still have a place for the vent tube to plug in.

Half Marathon is 21-odd km isn't it? Never have, never will for me. It's effectively burning money every time you light up. Don't mind other people smoking though.
-
You can do that if the original plates are defaced, stolen or lost. Not sure if you can change them just because you "wanted". You can do that in AA, VTNZ and VINZ.
-
Is it the dead-locking mechanism got a bit stuck/jammed?
-
I've never been to a track, but I heard about brake fluid change. If you are going to drive hard enough, might want to change fluid just before every track day.

Ti has its own floor covering and non-Ti (Coupe, Seden and Touring) has a same one for all three versions (but different from Ti)
