Side and Rear kit & Lowered it' look finished. But looks pretty staunch as it is.
-
Damn. I love the plumbed back turbos. Under the rear seat. OMG.

Where theres a Will, theres a Way.

Do It. Get a new shell. Bound to be someone out there with one. If not, then get a cheap POS thats all banged up & swap everything over. You wont regret it.
-
Got a close up photo of the grill? Could be keen.
-
I thought those photos were familiar? You wont kicked out bro. No parent would kick their child out, unless you done something extremely stupid like robbed a bank or something. Thats what parents are for, to support you. My mum always did & still does & I own half the damn house!

These is metal brackets on the inside? I havent taken mine off before, so not sure...just checking. Reckon you could pop the trims back on, to check. Thats why I need it. My driverside trim has all the clips broken off. And main bumper has a huge crack driverside also, so thought might as well take the whole thing. But only if both trims fit & dont fall off (or pop off slightly). EDIT: Are you able to email some photos of it all? Photo you posted, dont really show much, just shows you got the bumper. ALSO- you coming to Hamilton 31st? Would you by chance be able to bring this? Id flick you extra for gas.

Hah guttered. Scrape man would of given you more than $2!
-
Any damage at all on the front bumper? No broken clips, cracks, rust etc?
-
Would leather restorer bring those seats back to Black? Or would they need retrimming? I got money, but if they need retrim, not worth it to me. I'd be keen on the front & back (Black).

Old thread? But pics in first post... very nice looking Mondeo. Do like alot. My sister & brother in law have a Modeo 5spd. Not sure what specs it is, but its a modern version. Drop the clutch in 1st in the wet & wouldnt get traction til 3rd. Got me freaked out cos I didnt expect it (drove for a weekend when I was down there -christchurch- last year, for a weekend). I fell in love with it

I hope you are at least keeping the car itself? What engine you going to put in it? Those prices as parts, dont seem to bad though.
-
As above. Thats too true. Even if you spend $10G on your engine, you aint gonna get anywhere near half of that, if its not running mint or running at all for that matter. Only time you get what the car is worth, is if its mint & original or rebuilt or such. A car and/or engine is not worth nothing if theres no market for it.

Parents always say that.
-
No. The plug in behind the indicator housing in the bumper. Mine is a bit buggered, so it would slip & then tick fast as but the front wouldnt. If that discribes what happens to OP sometimes, then that may be "one" reason. Same as E30ONP, I used to give it a thump with my hand it came back on, but then decided to dig deeper. Everything isnt always a fuse.

Im meaning the wiring thats all fried. Id prefer a pro do it, if I was in that position. As for computers etc, theres always someone who knows something?
-
Its all opinions. Everyone is entitled to them. Just good to see that 90% of ours are all the same for once But, he should put "offers" on the ad and he'd no doubt get bigger bites. And also, say remove the wheels and price will be "blah" etc. As posted originally, all the bolt-ons that are not permanent dont make your car worth more, just makes it more appealing to certain peoples.
-
may be tow it to a auto sparky, get them to inspect it & give you a quote (not estimate, as they can then charge more) and that way, the wiring side of things will be done & warrantied etc. Dont wanna DIY that kinda stuff unless you are 100% sure you know what you doing. Dont wanna f--k up the wiring & blow every thing (which has almost happened)? But everything will work out, just keep your mind to it.

Well if you car sits on Trademe for nearly a year & you are moving, surely you'd realise no one wants it at that price. I think people use the "im moving" sentence too much. As if that many people are moving overseas (nearly every car that is overpriced has that sentence in it).
-
I want you to finish it, get it mint, so you can do a video of it. Just looking at the photos, you know its gonna go nuts.
-
I'd take up those offers. And if it still runs like crap, park it up, take your time. If when you get your licence back, it still no good. THEN sell it.
-
What you have listed, does not seem that major. If someone on here is happy to help spend a weekend on it, DO IT. 2 or 3 brains is better than 1. I see cars all the time pop up Trademe as unfinished projects, they always say they have spent over, eg $20G on it and only want $5-$10G. Thats ALOT of $ wasted, just so the buyer has a head start on it. Dont be one of them people. I admire what you have done FrantiC, hence the reason why, once I sell my Honda, I want to do my E30 (completely different engine though) but reading what you've done, has made me want to make my E30 unique also. My brother has had his Anglia in his garage for 6years now, all in bits as a rolling body. He wont part with it, cos he knows he wont get his money back so he is just going to hold it until he can be bothered. Hes rebuilt it FIVE times since he got it, about 15years ago and this would be SIXTH time. Its still in bits, but he still owns it! So park the car up, take your time (you got 12mths man!) You can do SO much in that time. Just spending 1 day a week on it or even 1 day a month and you will get there. So many people on here that can help you thru it or have contacts.
-
Sorry guys. Lips are sealed. I wont be putting any clues out there, or even an answer, until I sell my Honda. I dont wanna even think about starting it until I have the funds. But I know what I want to do, and I am going to do it.
-
Thats what my first thought was when I got my E30...not even ow! No skids in it...too slooow (unless its wet)
