Just the fact is "genuine". Stuff that may be expired, I can just replace. But I can still say "I got a genuine first aid kit" - ya know. Still keep on one, even if its just the packet. Im sure all E30 diffs are the same, but the performance E30s may be better...should still interchange? As for the drums-discs...discs are better. Shouldnt be hard to change You just need the calipers. Someone else would know more than me though.

Am removing my front seats to see if I can try free up the rails & adjusters a bit cos they are a bit stiff. But Im a bit stuck. I cant get a socket or spanner on the back bolts (as per photos). Is there any kind of trick to get these bolts out? The curving black parts above the bolts stop me getting the socket wrench on the socket and the actual rails stop me getting the spanner on. Thats why I am stuck. Im guessing there is another "special" tool for these...or am I just useless.

There ya go. Way different bass compared to rap. Well the rap I listen to...Snoop Dogg stuff aint really bassy but Lil Jon (hang on thats not rap thats CRUNK) is a completely different bass... Disturbed has a bit of good bass, but I turn it down a bit when I play metal...distorts my subs

Mum is 5ft tall. The mrs is 5ft 4ish. I am 5ft 10. They both sit RIGHT up into the wheel and I cant even get in behind it so once I am in, the seat then goes back. I always get told off for not putting it back, but eh, I just keep forgetting (most of the time). So your telling me, you drive with your seat right up & yours legs crammed in under the wheel? Unless you are 5foot? Have a frontal at high speeds I'd be less likely to be trapped if I am back further.----this is just a thought that goes thru my head. May be all shet but its just one of those things...

Even the paint work is crap anways, I still hate a dirty car. I also have the habit of always changing other peoples driverseat positions. Always do it in mums, my mrs & whoevers elses cars. I drive with my left hand of the gearstick & right hand on the wheel, even though its auto... I also find, if my vents (either side) are not even eg been moved up or down I always tap them so they are straight again - just looks annoying having ONE vent crooked. Its no big deal, but it just iritates me, like WTF! I also always have to have the passenger window down the same as mine if Im by myself - if someone is sitting there I dont care. If I have one of the back windows down, the other side has to match it also (but usally people in the back if they are down, so doesnt happen often). I MUST have BASS. I never turn my subs down - bass is always on max. Only when I get home, arrive at a Servo/Shop or looking for a house or arrive at someone elses house I turn the bass down or turn heady completely off/Pause. I never turn it down otherwise...Volume also has to sit on no lower than 18 if I am by myself (if people in the car and they are talking to me or each other its usually OFF or on 10 --- max is 38). One thing I hate, your passenger turns it down to talk (like turns to 5 or lower so cant hear it at all)...I hate that so much. I just say - PAUSE IT! Then unpause once they finished.

Nevermind all the dissing and all that crap Paul. I reckon it looks pretty mad & makes you stand out from the rest. Cheaper than a paint job & having doing it yourself BIT BY BIT, and cutting every bit by hand, makes it more impressive. thumbs up to you bro. No one likes to have a car that is identical to someone elses, and this makes yours NOT indentical to someone elses. I gotta say I've never seen an E36 with Vinyl Camo in the old or the new design you have. Both looked good, but I also must say the design you have ATM looks 1000x's better. Yeah man. Bloody solid! With 2 subs & an amp on it...yeah not light lol! Dont know if I'll bother making another one, but will see - this one makes the subs go fine. For the price I won it for (honestly thought I'd lose it) I have NO complaints about it! Had to remove my taillights to get it in as the very top corners hit the inside of the lights, the bit of the lens that protrudes into the boot (with the sockets removed)...so having to do that, i dont know if I wanna take it back out May just remove it one day, rip the trim off, and just recover this one!? That'd be cheaper by far...

The one you already got is way better IMO. I got one like that, off Trademe. Put it on and sounds good (not noisy at all unless I rev the hell out of it) and looks the goods too. Why dont you want yours?

Bought it off Kerry. Mean score. $23, I so thought I'd get outbid but nope... Anyways, got my subs in & it goes hard. Just sprayed the trim black like my parcel tray. Simple. Will retrim it in a nice black carpet at a later date. And YES you can see the wires...I will be rewiring it properly at a later date also (probably when I recarpet it) - I was is a rush to get it in so I could hear it, so all wiring will be hidden away soon. Also has a false floor for access to the wheel. But I kept my original cover in there & just chucked the false floor in ontop. And yes, the Vibrant logos are angled...done that on purpose...for the hell of it cos I can... The entire ass end vibrates, but does not "rattle" or sound "tinny" - which I LIKE VERY MUCH (actual Bass noise). Even the tail lights looked like they were gonna fall out but they wont of course.

If thats his car, then someone can easily prove him right or wrong. If its him driving it, its him, if someone else then its not. Simple. But Welcome.

My window is always down a fraction if not right down even if raining cos otherwise the windows fog up (no aircon & my heater is crap).

haha Brook. Yep I do that. Volume has to be an even number. 8,10,12,14,16,18 and so on. EDIT: Im sure some headys come out standard with volume that goes up in 2's instead of 1's...? Im sure Ive seen one before. Some house stereos do
