Mainly, if I was to say what I plan on doing, people would start going on about "dont do it, its impossible" kind of talks. And I dont care what people say. Thats why I dont want to say anything until I have the $ to even start. Theres always people who want you to do it & those who think its a waste of time & $. Its not going to be cheap. And probably wont be legal. But I love the E30s and well I'm just gonna do it. Its none of the engines you listed above. Someone "may" have done it, but I cant find any on the net. When I have raised funds (upon sale of the Honda) I will start researching it. Getting prices, advice etc. Then if I am 100% certain it will work, I will then start a build thread. If it is 100% impossible, I will do something else. But my mind is fixed on what I want to do, and its staying like that until I know otherwise

Your lights do look very "black" in the photos. Almost as though you painted the lens, which Im sure you didnt. Did you also paint the "reflector" in the high beams?

AS PER PHOTO Tell me what part/s you need & I will remove & take photos for you. Parts I know are worth $? Sump Pan - No damage - $30 Dip Stick - No damage - $10 Anything else, just ask. Gearbox was removed from a 318i E30 '88 model. Lost all gears, wouldnt engage, so replaced it. Has been sitting in the backyard for a few months, so not sure if worth repairing. But am open to offers if someone wants to try fixing it. Otherwise, ask for a part. Will be stripping any "good" parts off it & then put it in my scrap pile.

Have you tried an actual storage unit? They can be fairly cheap, depending who you go to & how big the unit is. Just a thought, if no one else can help. And you can pay them monthly or prepay. Im not entirely sure though. I will be using one of the storage yards down Kahikatea Dr/Greenwood St soon, to store my Honda.

I wouldnt say "the" hottest, but definitely one of them...but VERY clean & tasteful.

Im hoping to buy that PFL front lip (reaper47 had a thread for bits to get rid of). But its in Auckland. Is anywhere who is local to Auckland or passing thru Auckland and coming to Hamilton sometime soon, able to pick it up for me & drop it off in Hamilton to me? Im happy to flick some gas $ your way - nothing excessive but am happy to negotiate. Anybody able to help, just reply on here or PM me. I will pay for the Lip first, before you pick it up. Agree with bellicose in the above comment. Offen twice (but within a set time) and off to Jail. If offences are 2yrs apart, then no Jail as thats a bit rediculous. As for the cruising law, I can bet my left leg that the cops will overuse their even "more" powers and pick on ANY young driver / flash car. Day or Night. Thats why they done this law, so they have another excuse to hand out fines & impound cars. Fines ARE revenue gathering...if you have proof they are not, please show proof as to how the $ is spent. The Govt has FAR better things to worry about (likes gangs, drugs & jail sentencing revising), and yet, they worry about one of the smallest problems our Country has...WTF! This law, now effects any young person who enjoys driving their cars. Come to Terapa one Friday night, you will find only say 10cars out of the whole 100 that go, are idiots. So they are judging us all, all thanks to the mofos who think they are cool in their Evo or Sack of poos. I dont go often any more, but I would still like to be able to freely drive around Hamilton (and possibly NZ!) without a damn cop pulling me up giving me a warning for cruising at night (3 warnings I believe before impound?) So the little clips along the front valance would be no use to the PFL lip? Forrest- Ex A, is that a different kind of FL lip? Looks MUCH bigger than the one I originally had (and lost) when I got the car.

Would they last long though? Since they are on the wheels & come in contact with nearly everything imaginable & washed weekly?

Anybody know if the front lip can be modified to fit the F/L E30?

Anybody know where I can get decals for these? Have kind of reconditioned these myself, now I just need decals. Dont want actual stickers, cos they will just wear or peel off. Would prefer replacements of the originals as they were a very thin alloy? Any recommendations? And what price would I looking at for 4 of them?

You sure? Cos I was looking at buying the angle eyes & smoked taillight with all indicators set. If there is a 10% discount, Im definitely gonna do that next year!
