Yes, silver highlights were, very gay. Cant beleive I done. I think someone put crack in my tobacco jokes. Only silver left is the spotlight blanks which will be replaced with spotlights anyway, and the silver painted plastic bits inside (which stated early in the thread, will be all replaced later on down the track). Cheers for the comment

Welcome FAW_20. Not a fan of rotors, never have been. Only rotors I like are the quiet rotors (when it blows up) or a Batty with standard exhaust (cant hear it). But everyone has their tastes, and deserves respect for it. So long as you give it. Hope to see pics soon (start a Showoff Thread!)

? Righto. I was meaning in the way, that they are Religious so they would find it, I guess, cool to see a "jesus" related optical illusion. You worry me

If not fuse or relay...try removing the bumper & check the plug in behind the bulb. Mine was doing the old "work sometimes, then not work" trick. Had a look and the wire in the plug was lose. Just taped it up good for now. Need a new plug, on the to do list. Even if it is a fuse/relay check the plug & wire anyway.

Is that a challenge? Im sure I could do it. Havent taken my springs out since I removed the pads, so no point now, but I could be keen to get a mate to time me (wheel off, spring out, spring in, wheel on). By myself. But OP, Im sure, as everyone else said, there is someone on here in ChCh that would be keen to do it for some beers. Dont let them rip you off thought, a dozen is more than enough for just the rears. Front springs are a pain. My first time, I got angry as but after a while I got it done. Dont recommend doing them yourself, unless very keen & got some skills under your belt (which I am slowly building up).

From 0:07 it sounds so... cant explain it.

Damn it, now the last one is stuck there in my vision (I started seeing him before I took my eyes off it - was just clearer when I looked at the wall). My mum & one of my sisters would love that one.

I am just curious... Did it sell?

How do the wipers wire up? Can they be installed onto headlights that DIDNT come with wipers?
-
Freight stuff at our expense? Can you update that list what you still have?
-
Can you PM me photos of the side & front indicators (smoked) - photos of entire assemblies. May be keen.

A jobs a job in todays world. Cant be picky. If they willing to hire you, go for it. Just keep handing CVs out and if the job you get is crap and a month or so later someone else wants to hire you & its better pay/etc, tell the crap job to stick it and go to the better job. Better than doing nothing for a couple of weeks... I worked at Caltex, graveyard shift for 2years. I suggest - DO NOT do that. The gayest social life you'll ever have. No life. Once I quit & got my current job, I started having Social life again. So if you try a Servo, make sure its Dayshift you get.

Someone got a guide how to do it? I can do it, and Im a n00b big time (when I first done it). Its just one big bolt to undo then push the rear hub down as far as you can & the spring will come out (factory springs may need compressors) but lowering springs go straight back in if you push the rear arm down hard enough. Takes me 10mins MAX per spring by myself and that includes taking the wheel off & putting it on.

Not too keen on newer models in matt black. I see mattblack as an oldskool car colour, mainly if they arent the flashest eg mine That one would look far nicer in Gloss Black. But of course, each to their own.

Agree with Simon & Jon (rag-top). If they removed all the fancy dancy stuff that is not "permanent", the car would be worthless. If the time comes to sell my POS, Im going to remove anything that isnt factory or permanent so I wont be losing $ for stuff that is worthless to someone else, which they will probably remove anyway - and sell to make their $ back.

Th0se Advantis arent Chromes, they're polished alloys. $4.5G for that, with a nasty dent in the boot & an ugly engine (which needs a bloody good clean) and bland interior = Dreamer. And hes/they are going overseas so need to sell - then drop your price loser.

I was thinking of doing this with my grey seats with black vinyl trims. But wasnt sure if it would come off on my clothes or not. But for the price of a can of paint, not bad I guess. Not sure if I will do it though.

One little scratch & all that hardwork is wasted

Nah man. Auction. No one else tried to outbid?

Im talking about the headlights (taillights still flash orange, they just look red when not flashing). I dont see how any workshop that does WOFs is gonna care about how bright the highbeams are. They just check the bulbs work & thats it. The lowbeam wont be any different as its just the bulb that lights up, no reflections required. Anyways, just forget about that now, thats an old discussion and its overs.

This is what my lights look like Also, are those blue plugs you can see, for spotlights? They not very long though.
-
Oh nah. I know what you mean. The part that broke off, is meant to stay there. And you twist a plastic bit that the cable goes thru which pops off and the bulb then slides in the middle as you can see it popping out in the front. Will get some photos tomorrow.
