Are you going to sell the eyelids (saw on your project thread you have removed them)? If so, what do you want for them? And how big is the crack? If not selling, all good man.

I didnt take the pump off, just drained it. Am waiting for Matty to reply? May go to his mechanic to flush it ...?

The seller is in Auckland and said pick up only...once again, dont think I can make a trip anytime soon to get them. If I could, I would arrange to pick up everything else I need. But wont be able to do that anytime soon...damn it! Oh well, maybe next time.

Wasnt meaning my favourite. I just found it on a search, thought some of you may be interested in looking at it. Doesnt look too ugly - IMO. Just an old BMW made to look like a new BMW. But hey, everyone has their own tastes.

Everyone I know calls them "Beamers" and some of them are BMW fans & the odd person owns one also. So, I guess its just one of those "personal" options. No right & no wrong way. But I'm still under the impression Oz say "Bimmer"... but theres a couple Aussies on here who could correct me? Most probably the same as us, various people say both versions?

Yeah, depends on the cars value I guess. But considering alot of people on here have very nice cars, its a shame they dont get the cars dont get the treatment they deserve? My sack is a POS and I still keep it as clean as I can, basically because I like a clean car. Every car I've owned hasnt been Flash except for my Ford, and I kept them all clean. Didnt mean that if you have a dirty car your a dirty fella or lady. Just a pity a lot of nice cars about today are not kept up to the standard they should be kept. I quote myself:- "A clean car is a respectable car" If you went to a car meet or just cruising around, and everyone saw your car was very untidy, covered in crap & the interior was a rubbish dump...I'm sure alot of people would be disgusted in that car. I see alot of cars around, that are worth mega $'s whether Jap, Euro or English made, and are filthy & I just think "what a waste".

A clean car is a respectable car... A cars cleaniness can sometimes show what kind of person you are. Dont qoute me on that, just something I've heard while out & about... ?

Would you mind giving me his business name, so I could go see him about doing mine? I have put new fluid in it. I just pulled all the hoses off, drained it, cleaned the resevoir but not the pump, then put it back together with new fresh ATF. A day later the fluid was black again lol obviously the pump is full of crap. Hopefully a good flush will sort it. If not, then will look at getting the rest of it looked at....

Yeah, Im going to look into getting them. They want $50 for both and they are leather (not mint, probably need a good polish), so might aswell. If they dont work out, not a big lose.

Aussies say Bimmer. I read it alot in magazines, as they spell it like that too. I call my car Beamer. Always called them beamers.

OK guys, settle down. Was just asking. You guys get so upset so easily over nothing? So I guess I'll go take it to a BMW Repairer then and get the steering system checked, see whats buggered & what its gonna hit me $ wise.

Try to do it once a week. Do the inside probably once a month.
