New Zealand New BMW E36 M3 Evo Sedans
Golfboy666GTI replied to Golfboy666GTI's topic in General Discussion
From what I can gather, there are currently 17 NZ new 3.2 Coupes, and a couple of imports. Older cars, say pre 2000's are harder to define due to the original data entry. -
Photo of it on the Targa Tour: https://www.proshotz.com/p811735922

My Brother had the plate 4OOBHP (not 400BHP) on his Avus Blue E39 M5.
-
Im pretty sure that's the case. A friend of mine imported it for the owner. I think it might have done 1 Targa Tour.

Really? What country? NZ? Were they all LHD?
-
Wow, the above car is NZ new, but sat around for 4 years before it was registered.

This is a different car to the last one.
-
Second time its been dereg'd. I guess it may have had a frontal the first time since it had orange indicators.
-
lbo99, have you had a look at any of the E46 M3's that have popped up for sale? This one seems nice: https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1833187514

Importing a car from the UK could be an issue with rust compliance, but once its here and been through compliance it should be fine. Only small things like MPH speedos can be a pain.
-
A few E46 M3's have popped up on TM in recent days.
-
Na, another coupe as well.
-
There a couple more alpine white E46 M3's, I think one of them got written off.
-
^ Note, all NZ new E46 M3's are registered as "M3 Coupe Manual" even if they are SMG.

Its a white UK import F10 M5, the lady driver (not her car) rolled down the drive way - knocking her over and ending up in the trees below the driveway. It wasn't on Napier Hill, it was out in Taradale.
-
I agree, stick with something in NZ, there are 100's of them here. 30K should get you a nice example.
-
6,342 1M's isn't exactly rare.
-
This must be the first one in NZ: https://www.manheim.co.nz/damaged-vehicles/000000000005375544/2018-bmw-5-series-m5-4-4pt-4wd-8at-sl-sedan?referringPage=SearchResults

There is a number of M2 manuals in NZ I believe. As for F8 M3 manuals, Ive seen a few for sale in OZ and the UK.
