  1. i know your basically finished, or have finished and not posted but.......... how about cutting a hole for the amp and mounting it from the back? that way all the wires are hidden away but it still can be seen from the front. Just a thought.
  2. Hey Guys Wondering if anyone has any experiance with sending stuff from Sydney to Wellington? Im currently living in Sydney but am moving to Perth on friday and need to send all my snowboard gear back home, Would prefer a Sydney Airport drop off point. Really need to get get it to Wanganui so if anyone knows any good cheap companies for road freight in nz as well it would help greatly, or if there is a company who can do it all that would be great cheers nick
  3. Unsure if it helps but when i moved to oz i picked up a second-hand iphone that was locked to Telstra. I got it unlocked legitimately by calling up Telstra and giving them the sin number and my credit card details. It unlocked with-in a few hours and i can now use it with any provider any where in the world. Maybe you can un-lock them in the same way? I presume they are locked to AT&T in the states? May be worth jumping on there website and searching about?
  4. I've been having a good look at mk1's lately. Trolling through some forums, checking out styles and mechanics, and keeping an eye on trademe. Reckon they look pretty sweet but i would def want a reliable comfortable daily also. Would be pretty keen to build something along these line but also chuck on a duckbill and wood slat style roof racks

  12. obviously everyone has they own opinions, ideas etc It gets people talking weather love it or hate it, it great publicity.
  13. True that, best idea to get round things. the amount of cars we had trying to get up Hutt with low profiles and 'sacked out sick azz carz bro' was rediculous. The proper hire chains available rely on sidwalls to stay on the car, if they do not fit properly they will either fling off the outside or in most instances they peel off to the inside and wrap around the axle and can take out brake lines! Alot of people tend to buy easyfit (plastic) type chains and just turn up in the carpark and try and put them on with out looking at them or trying them on prior, then find themselves in trouble less than 1km up the road. Then i used to have to spend time every chain day cruising down in the truck to fix, cut, replace chains. All in good fun though when you know what your doing, people are usually stoked to get moving again.
  14. yeah, all good bro. been away from here for sooooo long and am slowly remembering all the int. e30 sites again. Found what i was after
  15. obviously its going to make it more confusing for a while, think the key is going to be not to take it for granted which i tend to do anyway as some people are just kooks. ive been working with people from all over the world in nz for the past 3 years and none of them understood the reasoning behind the rule how it was/is.
