    BMW E30 noise

Sounds like your power steering fluid is low, try topping that up and see how it goes

    E30 help

dont stuff around save for a bit longer and buy a 325i..... youll thank yourself latter, they do heaps better skids > When i was looking for my 205 GTI i waited over a year for a nice one to pop up. the reason being its 17349879040 times easier to start off with a nicer car and make it mint/fast than it is to sart with a shitty car and spending allot of time and money just making it nice.

Go to GSS awesome guys and they have everything you need to get an oil cooler set up built http://www.gssperformance.co.nz/
  5. The other day i went to tow a friends E30 as he didn’t have a tow eye hook to screw into his front bumper. So i had a look in my tool kit in the boot lid of my E30 which i knew was complete only to find no tow eye hook or even a cut out for it too live..... Where are they normally stored in an E30? And has anyone got a spare one lying around i could procure of you? Cheers

    Darin's 36

Thats why i have my cars insured with classic cover..... they are car people and are much more likely to try and rebuild than replace
  7. Maybe you should reconsider my car as its more dark blue than black
  8. Citroen use hydraulic suspention....
  9. E30 eyelide i sourced on here through a very kind forum member http://bimmersport.co.nz/user/7153-jcbmw/ give him a message and ask if he has any left over. As for your spring cutting question the answer is ZERO. Cutting springs is bloody dumb... especially when you can source brand new lowering spring from www.Stocks.co.nz for $150 an end or ask on here if anyone has a 2nd hand set lying around. I fit king spring superlows from stocks and they got it sitting nice and low. I also used E90 top hats ($65 a pair) to drop the front down another 10mm as per the thread below. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/45918-omg-another-e30-nooo-way/page-3 and twin strait through exhaust would sound pretty good i would throw a couple coby's half way down to avoid the fart cannon boy racer drone.....
  10. Also once you ground off the spring seats on your shocks did you then have to get the factory shock bodys threaded or does the new spring seat just sit on the left over collars pictured?? and wouldnt you have to shorten the shaft aslo??
  11. Woah update central!! nice work man we should have a drag race and see if that small jap 2.0l any better than my 100% standard 2.5l inline 6 german monster
  12. Mint! i just did the trailing arm bushes on mine recently too, i couldnt be bothered with assembling a puller and just used a gas torch > They made a huge differance too!
  13. woah that was an epic guess! haha
  14. smooth driving man! but i kinda think going into the first corner at hamptons that late and that shallow should be reserved for "championship type racing" only, not a club day.
  15. After a pair or full set of 20mm wheel spacers for the E30 has anyone got some old ones lying around?

Nice one! One tip if it isnt too late is you should paint the lip spoiler body colour as it makes it look super clean. P.S. i cannot take credit for the idea.... whome ever painted my car before i got it did that very thing and it looks swish
  19. We sell that warranty at my work and its by far the best one when compared to the other non factory warranty options like Janssen (who are sh*t). I’ve dealt with claims with both of them and Autosure are generally very good and tend to pay out where as Janssen tend to fight having to pay out. I work for a non BMW brand so your best plan would be to go see our BMW branch Jerry Clayton BMW on the shore and tell them you want an Autosure warranty. They will then need to do a 1h inspection on your car to make sure there are no preexisting faults. http://www.jcbmw.co.nz/ It’s a pretty painless process and well worth it when you own a euro.
  20. Why do all of that to an auto?
  21. Thats looks like an epic trailer!
