Right! So now that I have another up and coming project I thought I better get my sh*t together and get these finished! Spent most of today stripping and cleaning all the terrible condition clear coat off the other 3 wheels and now all ready for sanding, polishing and painting the inner barels gloss black. Unfortunately I'm still out of town most of next week but that should be it for a while so should be able to spend my nights in the garage getting them done. Yay!!!

Yes do it while you still can! Mine got jammed and couldn't do anything so had to pop the electrical connection off the back of the barrel and turn that with a screw driver haha. There's a good video on YouTube of how to replace the barrel. Just order a new from BMW for about 400 i think

Brought this manual 325 for 1900 just cos haha Then paid the dude another 200 to drive it from chch to timaru so we took the. M3 up and Tyler drove it back for me. What can I say... Pretty solid car all round, sure handles like a car with 245 on the clock haha

Depends how old and worn they are and how well you want them to preform. I'm running my wagon on super lows on just the factory shocks that are probably 100k km old and not in best shape but still hold up fine. But then agin she's no racecar

Well a new carbon one is about 750, and a genuine one is similar or more

Don't know weather or not to get a carbon fibre rep so I can keep the carbon exposed on the underside of it or wai till a genuine one shows up

Also it's perfect to hold mcDs drinks under it so not to tip over. Probably it's best merit

I've had no issue what so ever with changing gears, even from swapping from the wagon, that doesn't have one to the m3 which does. When I'm home in the weekend il have to check how I do it but pretty sure my elbow is elevated so it's over the arm rest when in race mode but when just cruising I think I just leave it resting on it. Same when I had the 328i with the longer throw. Had it down when doing an auto cross and wasn't an issue either. Maybe I have long arms, I dunno
