All depends on condition of sale I guess. Don't think it works like rego where if it's out and you do change of ownership they have to back pay it and you pay from the time it's in your name.

Quick question about E36 thermostat replacement
euroriffic replied to JJohnsen88's topic in Maintenance
Try Paul at miland, he sells plenty of oem quality parts on trademe and is local. But if your doing the thermostat you should probably look at doing the water pump aswell as they can fail if it's old -only about 100buks. Also good time to check over the hoses etc to sell if they need replacing. -
The basian write up is an extremely detailed, step by step guide to do it, that's what I'm using as a guide so should make things pretty clear and shouldn't need the special tools either by the looks of things.

Hahahahaha that's Freakin sweet!

I was looking for one/two of these for my cars so brought 10 as Im sure afew of you guys would be interested so I have 6 left, for $20 shipped. they are approx. 30mm high by 45 wide and can either be stuck straight to a body panel/window or to the front grill by glueing on the supplied backing plate and sticking badge to that. Just PM me your details and we'll go from there

Looks sh*t hot! Good work

Haha yea it's had a hammering as of late. I got the pedal covers off eBay for about 20buks. Only problem I found was it's designed for lhd so the dead pedal is abit too wide to fit without catching your foot on it when using th clutch so might give it a trim down then refit.

Cheers Tristan, still waiting on a big box from Schmiedmann to arrive too! Then I can finally roll with the schnitzers on
-
yea it sucks big time! not something you want to happen to a $150 item. heres afew crappy photos of what Ive got so far, couldn't find the camera so no incar shots as ipod was too crappy to pic it up good also selling afew of the german bagdes since I have so many...

Ive just got two sets of boots from topgaiter off ebay and they were great! brought awhole heap of stuff from different sellers on the same day and theirs was the first to show up within a week and about 4 days before anything else. good products aswell. also use Schmiedmann a fair bit and have nothing but good things to say about them
-
Have finay got these home and had a good look over, very outter lips have afew minor scrapes but can get them spun up if need be and give them a polish like I did to the schnitzels. Also there's a light scratch or two that would probably tidy up with a good clean. Price drop to $500 and will give them a clean and photos over weekend.

Got her back last Sunday and looking all pretty again! One thing I have noticed today though after finally having a chance to take a good look is that the new genuine indicator doesn't quite fit properly so will take a look at that over the weekend. My eBay goodies all showed up his week as well as new p.plates so tonight I fitted them all up. That comprised of M stitched alcantara gear and E brake boots-also got leather since the were so cheap but seem good quality, brushed black alloy M pedal covers, and a ///M 6spd illuminated zhp gear knob. Had it all wired up and tested, but as I slid it down it tore one of the wires off so doesn't go no more. Man was I f**ked off! So started pulling it to bits to find it's all hot glued in so will have to try to pick it all out and resolder some stronger wire to it. Will post picks up tomorrow night.

Make sure they're no bigger than 600x800. May have to download a image resizer

And maybe the fact that it's a 325i, with an LSD, with tuned headers, and its a coupe, and it's not rusty. Maybe you should stick to Hondas....

Have had the same problem before. It's the locking solenoid inside the door that's stopped working.
