Won't overheat, just won't get warm in the car unless you jam them open. Pretty common thing on e36s

My M3 is the same, held on by big washers haha. The 328i was starting to crack aswell when I sold it.

Yea fram do a "air hog" panel and pod filter, ment to be a high flow performance filter. BnT and maybe repco sell them

Looking good! Was going to make an airbox box of simillar design for my m3 but using a fram filter as they're not oiled like the KnN ones. Had just the filter on the other week and sounded amaaaiiizing!!! So I know what youl be hearing now haha!

Buy Brents e36 m3, it's a bit rough so be a good price and then you already have all the good bits

hows your battery? Have heard these can cause issues if theyre getting flat, and especially if your going slow so the altinator wont be charging fully and drawing more current off the battery.

At the driving range with Tyler (PLDUBS) in the M3, a Dakar Yellow Z3 showed up, didn't park next to me for a photo op tho. And then at the supermarket, the other Dakar yellow M3 was there but again, didn't want to park next to me for photos. rude bastards!

Most bps sell it here in Dunedin, think the only one that doesn't is on George St. Pretty sure the bp in frankton on the way into queenstown will sell it too
