  1. Least that way you won't be waiting 10yrs to have a working e30 again
  2. Poor old Gus, Getting sent down the river already. Also pics won't work
  3. I just had the same issue with the m3. Was the alternator not charging properly so the battery kept dying. Check the belt that runs the alternator is tight first as that can cause the issue
  4. My 328i had remote locking, as does the m3 but that also has a factory alarm. Have a look behind the rearview mirror and see if there's a whole heap of wires going into it. That's what mine had aswell as a red knob under the mirror where as my touring doesn't have remote loving and has just a normal rearview mirror
  5. Followed an e39 thismorning with rear fogs on
  6. Cheers Kyu! Bit of an update: went to panel beaters today to get the front end tidied up so hopefully have it back by the end of the week also ordered a heap of bits from Schmiedmann finally, didn't get the coilovers tho, thought I'm best to spend money else where and can also get them cheaper off eBay. Also brought some goodies off eBay too so will update when they arrive and get a chance to fit them.
  7. The ones I'm looking at are genuine caps and from what I'v seen others do is just cut all the clips off the back and glue them on. Going on my style 5s. Do you have a link to the ones your getting by any chance?
  8. Sorry missed that bit out, yes Bbs ones. And need 70's, 64mm will be too small.
  9. as per title. does anyone have a set lying around before I buy the ones on ebay for $150 cheers
  10. Dirty old eb falcon v8 in an e36! It has no place being there!!
  11. That's not a good way to start the day! Glad to see they're fronting up. I've heard of a few issues like this in town and nothing being done about it.
  12. There's a separate dial under the center vents to change them from hot to cold, I bet it's on cold
  13. Plenty in the for sale sections. Buy my style 10s!!
  14. The e36 has a separate push button for front and the rear fog. But yes, it is highly annoying
  15. I used to think that too. When I first got the 328i (black) first job was remove orange lenses for the updated white ones but then went back to the orange fronts afew years later as it made the car look so much better somehow. But I do think it depends what colour the car is. Tried the whites on the white touring but didn't think it looked right so kept them orange. Orange might not look to good on the yellow m3, might clash abit
  16. Yes should of mentioned radiator and hoses, my bad. And I found the BMW coolant cheaper than the "good stuff" and ripco and the likes too, and distilled water if your super fussy
  17. Open to more realistic offers, and will pick these up tomorrow for a clean and photos
  18. That poor poor e21, it didn't deserve that!
  19. Haha yea sorry, couldnt help myself!Pretty sure the valve closes everytime you turn the car off so may be an intimitant fault as bmws are oh so good at if it was blowing hot on the test drive. But sounds like a sticky valve so I'd be making sure it opens or do it manually if you can. And as advised coolant system is a must if not done already. That includes waterpump and Tstat, not just coolant. And as said in your intro post, more than happy to help!
  20. Welcome James. Is the 328 vert black with yellowy tan leather? If so I've seen it around a fair bit and yes, very tidy! Was the same colour in and out as my 328 sedan! As Tyler and micheal said we're a very helpful bunch down here and glad to have another local member so again, if you need a hand, gives a holla.
  21. Does it blow air at all? The "hedgehog" fan speed resistors are prone to failing aswell as the digital hvac control panel. If it does blow ( as good as your mum did lastnight ) check to see if the valve opens and closes first to make sure that works before going any further. If that all works could be blocked heatercore. Probably a good idea to overhaul cooling system while your at it. Cheap and easy enough on a m50
  22. The ews shuts power off/on to the fuel pump as well as starter motor and ignition I'm pretty sure so I'd say it may be something to do with that
  23. Don't think I've seen that round either. Looks like a minter tho and very well spec'd.
