WOW. Just rang customs. 5% charge on the product value converted to NZD, then add 15% GST to the product price & Postage/Insurance price, then add another $38.70 customs charge if the 5% and 15% comes to $60.00 and over. F**k me thats alotta taxes and addon costs.

FYI, University of Auckland offers one free copy of Windows 7 professional 32 and 64 bit, as well as Windows XP to their students. Dunno if that goes for other tertiary schools.
