  1. Yup - nuts. I know the market has moved on, but I'm not sure we've gone from complete cars that need work for $1500 to a shell for $3k.
  2. Another free listing day on TradeMe means more E30s for sale. 1986 coupe, no engine, no gearbox, dead rego - $3k 1987 318i manual coupe, $24.5k for quick sale (was ~$27k) Plenty of others, some quite reasonably priced and some more optimistic.

"E30 2 door/coupe full black door cards... very hard to find." Only found in virtually every 2-door E30 ever made.

Not even a teensy, tiny, little bit. I've lived in a lot of places. Trust me - NZ is an oasis of calm. Yup, got it's problems, but really nothing like those faced by so many other places. Oz looks good - more money, cheaper cost of living (depending on where you go) but bear in mind that if it moves, it'll probably kill you. And if it doesn't move, it'll probably still kill you. Unless you're planing a move to the Azores, Iceland, or one of a couple of other Scandinavian countries, this really is as good as it gets. A great shame that such a loud part of our political media seems hellbent on trying to persuade people otherwise.
  6. I always found it was easier to call Gavin (or Rodney) and have a chat.
  7. I think that was done about 250000km ago. Harmonic balancer on front of engine was about 50000km later. (Keep an eye on that.)
  8. Having bought from Rodney, it seems the service is just as good as many of us came to expect from Gavin. (In case you're wondering, that's * good * )
