I've never found him quite so enthralling. Doubtless a great driver, but seemed (despite some racing success) to be more about showmanship than anything else, but I was raised on a diet of British and Scandinavian, and other European rally drivers. Americans seemed to worship him. Reportedly an all-round nice bloke. Just finished helping his daughter build an Audi Quattro. (In my opinion, experience, etc.)

Milady wife's Lexus RX, and Miss M's F20 116i use the same engine oil. Winning!

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
gjm replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
What's a 325i Touring worth now? A friend has one for sale but it is overseas... RHD, ~165000km (indicated - we all know about E30 odometers), good condition all round, 15" BBS rims, lots and lots of history. My earlier thoughts re E46 M3s for a daily aren't likely to happen given they are (justifiably) expensive. But an E30 Touring would work, and might not cost quite so much. -
Could be... I didn't see any part numbers on them to help confirm suitability.

Any good? Need a clean but they've been stored in a container for quite some time.

At Days Bay Pavilion, near Wainuiomata.

There was an E46 M3 'vert for sale recently at $24k. (IIRC.) Seller did acknowledge that it was likely the cheapest M3 available.

🤔 I wonder if I can pick up a ratty E46 M3 for a daily... -
Got a snazzy bottle opener for to-be-built mancave, and a limited edition book about the Ford GT40.

Saving grace is that he doesn't hide that he's a dealer - the Facebook listings are from a personal account. Could be concerned that those who know will ask how the significant hike in price is justified. -

Aye. It'd need a lot of paint and interior for a $25k uplift, but I appreciate it's a 'try price' as much as anything else. -

I saw this. Was it another "reluctant sale" change-of-plans listing? -
Red alert ! "Selling my absolutely beautiful BMW M Coupe!" And your 2005 Toyota RunX, your Mitsubishi, your Audi RS4, your Kawasaki...? Possible, that's a lot of vehicles for a 'Private seller' to have listed at once.

Miss M would like an additional key (fob) for her 116i. Hers has had an issue since she bought it, but it is slowly getting worse, and investigation reveals why: Budget doesn't extend to visiting BMW nad asking for a replacement, so what are the options? Her car is one without an ignition key as such - pop the fob in the centre console (or your pocket), press 'Start', and off you go. There's obviously some transponder activity. Can this be replicated without spend $Big ?
