I'm very seriously considering a M113K-engined vehicle for my next purchase...
-
X6M exhaust... 😂

I think they're OK. If in doubt (and if possible/practical) use PayPal to pay.

We certainly have a lower population and smaller pool of prospective buyers. Similar number of lowballing a-holes, though.

Lowered so far on silly wheels that they rely on tyre sidewalls for suspension compliance ("just like F1, innit") - seeing them bounce over bumps makes my back hurt!
-
I hope it was astonishing for others, but apparently those involved had a number of vocal 'supporters' suggesting unfair play.

We still have EuroItalian. Gavin sold to Rodney but the purpose is the same.

Glad someone else saw that, too. Ridiculous price.

I wonder if it would clear cert in NZ?

Such disappointment. An E87 with four wheel drive?! Sign me up!

Paul at MillAnd has been in business for years. Really good guy to deal with - knows his stuff. He does do TradeMe listings but typically only for special deals, and to maintain a web presence. Most of his work is via phone or email.

... and maintaining them. They get dirty, especially when used outside. Can they be washed in a commercial (BIG) washing machine?

Back in the day, when I were a lad, (etc) I had a Mercedes 560SEC. My brother had the 500SEC. His car was more sporting, more responsive. Perhaps more 'fun' to drive. Mine was Smoke Silver, had 17" Oz alloys and looked nicer. Both were automatics. We changed direction a little and he bought an 840Ci (with the 4.4 engine). I bought an 850CSi with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Mine was definitely the more sporty of the two. He 'invested' (OK - we spent a lot of time, effort and no small amount of money), had a 6-speed gearbox fitted, and we demonstrated that BMW had missed a trick. His car was by far the better drive. My car felt lazy by comparison. Nice, fun, and thoroughly enjoyable, but lazy. At the time, and this is well over 10 years ago, my 850CSi cost well under (equivalent) $8k. I was seeing them in the UK for as little as £1500 (NZ$3500 at the time). Big, complex, and expensive to maintain.

850CCA refers to 'Cold Cranking Amps'. CCA is a rating used in the battery industry to define a battery's ability to start an engine in cold temperatures. It refers to the number of amps a (nominally) 12-volt battery can deliver at 0°F for 30 seconds while maintaining a voltage of at least 7.2 volts. Your car may *need* this. Or it may not. It's not irrelevant but is of less importance (to you, in NZ) than the overall capacity and specification of the battery for your car. When was the last time you saw -18C when trying to start your car? You'll probably find batteries meeting the specification of the BMW part number I quoted will exceed 900CCA.

V12 can have a smaller battery. 725TDS, 728I+IL, 730D, 730I+IL, 740D, 740I+IL, and 750I+IL are specified to have a 90Ah battery, BMW p/n 61217604822.

This was for a 'prestige' manufacturer. The self-entitlement is overwhelming. 😡

Idiots posting on Facebook complaining they aren't getting a response from a car dealer about the service they have booked for today. In Hastings. Do these people not see the news?
