Big rims don't need to be a problem provided they have suitable offsets and are fitted with appropriate-sized tyres. I reiterate the suggestion to have a chat with Greg. (Our daughter is taking her 116i in for a WoF tomorrow.) He'll have seen similar issues before and may have a little more flexibility than CJ with regard to suggestions. Nothing at all wrong with CJ but they may have more difficulty looking at non-original-BMW solutions. (Jon @E30 325i Rag-Top may be able to comment on that).

As with cars, there's often a case for changing the exhaust. But (stereotypically) late-model Harleys with open pipes being ridden by look-at-me-I'm-having-a-crisis types are unnecessary and annoying.

Bear in mind it's a 'club deal'. Not an issue - joining is easy and can (I think) be done at the checkout.

Apple. 🤢🤮 I know the adage about not judging a book by it's cover and not letting first impressions affect future decisions, but having had to integrate Apple with Unix, Linux and several version of MS Windows, it was only the Apple that really caused continued, repeated issues. For weeks, and weeks, and weeks... Didn't touch the poxy P.O.S. for years until I thought "must be better now" but no... Still an almighty PITA to sort any issues, always requires a bespoke something or other, additional and different (more expensive) licensing to everything else, and has quirks and 'features' that no-one uses but get in the way of administration. And then you meet a rabidly fanatical Apple zealot who insists it's all good, that I can't possibly be having so many issues, that I just don't understand and who, after 2 hours, still cannot sort whatever the issue is so just walks off muttering about how crap Android is.

Edge 5W30 is 35% off, too. And good ol' Magnatec 10W40 is half price.

Given the MXS5.0 Battery Charger included in this kit lists at $237 on it's own, this is certainly a good deal for the kit in a case.

Sadly, this. Not that it is in any way unusual and most organisations have a few like this. Often they mean well and don't understand the impact (on others) of their way of working.

Contact has been made correctly, but I can't reply to the email (bounce back, address not found), only phone (or text) the person. The email won't have worked for a few years.

It's a sad fact that Mrs Ms Baur is for sale. Been on TM for a while, which was expected Received an email today. Fair enough - there is a button on the listing inviting interested parties to email the seller, and I have said that if someone would like to make an offer, please email using that button. The offer is obviously some way below the asking price. This is expected. However.. The person using this option is registered on TM with an ihug email address. For those that don't know, these haven't worked for a few years. By the powers of tenacity vested in me, I have ascertained this person has no active listings, no recent purchases or sales, a total feedback score of 10 (with 2 stars) and a feedback percentage of 80-something. So not perfect, and hasn't bought or sold anything for some time. This person has included a pone number in the email I have received. Is this an occasional person who has found something on TM they like, or a calculating individual using an old untraceable account to initiate something unpleasant?

Juggling the options between buying genuine in Oz, or (as you suggest) going the cheap 3rd party route. I've no issue supporting local, or even just NZ, business, but at double the price (albeit only a $20 difference) they can go... get stuffed.
