If it's hot glue just stick a hot glue gun in there (sans glue stick) will melt it and gravity should do the rest. Just watch whats under the plug when you do it , or don't wear Jandals.

Bump. Currently making an excellent object to stub my toe on and trip over when moving the bikes in and out of the garage.

Still have this kicking around in the car. Offers with whatever axle / subframe parts you need to go with it. Will probably remove after christmas and try and sell it for real.

They use the BBS Precision Fit System, so it's designed to have the BBS specific hub ring and a locking circlip in place to suit the hub you're fitting it to. If you wanted to run it on an E39 you'd need another set of rings. The opening is ~82mm but I'm not sure if they can be run without one.

Have some BBS RC300's , 18 x 8.5 et13 with 225 40 tires. With the e36 hub rings. As the guy above states they have decent poke.

Does that count for increasing the track width overall? I can see how it would affect it change one andnot the other.

Do you take small children as payment?

Anyone have any idea how to remove a rounded screw?
Boowhup replied to louistan3's topic in Maintenance
Drill the head off, go slow, use a bit slightly larger than the bold thread. There'll be no tension on the bolt once the head has gone so will come out easy after that. If the filter drops away you'll have a fair bit of exposed thread to grab with vice grips. -
Slight tangent - did anyone keep driving after losing their license? I read the comment above "sell my BMW" and was surprised. I've lost my license 3 times back when I was a teenager / early twentys and just kept driving - minimising the time spent behind the wheel to commuting. A total of 15 months across the three suspensions. All three times were before the cops had any real seizure rights so the worst I would have got was a ~$600 fine I could pay off and organising a tow truck or mate to get the car so obviously different circumstances compared to now.

M Sport front sway bar - $40 plus shipping from Auckland. Includes mounts and the end links.

Might have a tech 1 steering wheel available to fit an e30 - larger of the 2 sizes I think (385 vs 370?). Not sure what it's worth.

Appears to be neither a Motorsport , or a Schnitzer model, or have any parts from either.

Yeah , they were for a set of BBS wheels so not sure how the ACS stuff translates, but they were recessed and tapered in all the right places, circlips fit well, tolerances spot on. Definitely happy with the purchase.

I just bought some Aluminium BBS "PFS" Rings and circlips in to suit 72.6 hubs , wheel bore was 82m, and the wheel has a groove for a circlip to fit in place that locks the ring in place. If you want to test fit one of mine to see if it works let me know, I found them on ebay for ~$60.

If you find the listing there's an m122 for 1200nzd shipped on eBay. Brand spankers. Although don't buy it, as I want it.

Found the receipt, 2 new clutches, replacements , so not extra. Make an offer - can also supply axles etc for extra if required.

The estima 2.5 engine makes 100kw, the sc14 charged version makes 120kw . Have you run the numbers for what increase you'd see? Doesn't sound like a lot to me for the effort involved.
-
Not sure on te total clutches in it, info I have is from the previous car's owner. Will drag out te receipt and see if there's more information. I can relay questions through and find out

E28 Large case diff. Has been rebuilt recently at a cost of $1500 (Have receipt) with 2 new clutch packs. $1000.

If you're careful you can drill the head off, the angle of the bit means the head pops off before digging into whatever it's holding down (if you're not hamfisted). Or you can stop just before it drills through and hammer it off. The rounded hole of the allen head acts as a guide for the drill. Once the item is removed there should be enough exposed thread to grab with the grips, and no force on the bolt so it should undo easier (and you can get the penetrating oil right into the threads).

If you have access to that BMW FB page there's a guy selling some black wheels that look very similar, might be the same.

After an M20 Flywheel to put in in M50. Would consider a package with a clutch kit. Also do I need a different starter motor?
