I have two e39 cars and I am looking at the market constantly. in my opinion the pricing of this particular model is just all over the place in nz. This car being a manual and a Schnizer version has its own target audience. Being a nz new is a great thing but only if the service history is there. Then there is no reason to drop your pants. Just be patient. it might sell in one day or one year.... Most important YOU decide the price not the market. There is always a buyer that will be prepared to pay for it. My personal suggestion, keep it !!!

I was checking online today it looks like my 1999 540i and my 2003 525i will be only $135 a year (almost halved) ...but my 328ci will be $175 a year. Have you checked out your car new rates?

facelift headlights installed. look good. half the way, one side installed.... and... both installed....

True they use Asian made glasses. But I have not noticed any annoying window noise up to 140km/h.

My passenger door lock actuator died today. the lock will not react on the remote lock /unlock remote control or button. it will work fine manually though. any recommendations on troubleshooting before I pull out door card and get into the actuator itself. just need to make sure that the actuator is dead for sure. Cheers

depends on the usage. maybe ok for cruising around the city but would not trust them in fast routes on state highway. but they are not ancient anyway.

New spark plugs / ignition coils for the 525i and new led interior lighting for the 540i.

I have a 525i 2003 very tidy we got it for my fiance as a daily. nice car, lack of power and definitely no where near to the v8 sound of my 540i. BUT it is quiet it is economical and you are getting a lot of a car and equipment for the money. go for it....

Nice car. I would not worry too much about the cooling system. My biggest concern would be chain tensioner and vanos issues. Good price. not sure of the keys issue.

yes I did already. no dramas. I was just hoping that for once in nz we could get some quality stuff.

Just for your information the filter I got from Transmax was made in China and there was no brand name. Hopeless...
