  2. Better off getting another unit from Ray at Hell bm or Brent at BM World. Finding someone to repair it may be a lengthy and no so economical process.

  11. Nah I dont need any parts at the moment Jeeves. Just trying to get this running at the moment haha
  12. Yeah the manuals are hard to fault man. Parts are still ridiculously priced for vw audi etc. But this is what Im working on today. Mk4 Golf running gear into mk2 jetta. Agm motor
  13. Free bump. Can vouch for this car. Saw it in the flesh. Glws
  14. Awesome car dude. Used to have a version 9 myself once upon a time. Good luck with the sale bud
  15. I made the mistake of purchasing an automatic for my better half. What a mistake. I ended up having to rebuild the box myself. Lost reverse gear after two weeks. The parts are stupidly expensive also. Cost me a grand just for parts. Good thing rebuilding gearboxes isn't that hard I prefer manual too but unfortunately nz has a lack of those
  16. I second that. Automatic transmissions in them on the other hand are a Pain in the posterior extremity
  17. Yeah I do hope its a Bimmersport member as the car is in really good condition. If i had a few bob I would buy it myself then swap the manual bits into my coupe haha but oh well. I know the owner. Hes a bloody good fella.
  18. Even if he had a 3 litre in there it would not be evident to the untrained eye. Most wof testing officers would not look into it further unless it's majorly obvious by looking at it that the engine capacity is increased. You are right bud. yeah he got Ray to do it which is the best person who could possibly do the swap. I know the owner and the car. Can really vouch for it
  19. Cleanest garage I have ever seen bruv. Beautiful car. Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of helpful people on here and a lot of people willing to give advice, professional and experienced, as well as answer questions and assist with finding parts etc. Good bunch of fellas on here
  20. Helena that looks like it will pop out with a little bit of heat. You really dont need to go replacing the whole bumper. Lol meeep. no bog either. Its a minor thing to be honest. Try and take it to a panelbeater. If you were up here Id get my panelbeater to pop it out
  21. The 320s are prolific oil leakers. I would avoid it like the plague.
