According to the lastest and latest VIRM updates there is no law in there that has been brought upon deeming angel eyes illegal. Sometimes it comes down to testing officer discretion. If they were any other coloured light other than white then that would deem them illegal.

I made the mistake of purchasing an automatic for my better half. What a mistake. I ended up having to rebuild the box myself. Lost reverse gear after two weeks. The parts are stupidly expensive also. Cost me a grand just for parts. Good thing rebuilding gearboxes isn't that hard I prefer manual too but unfortunately nz has a lack of those

I second that. Automatic transmissions in them on the other hand are a Pain in the posterior extremity

Yeah I do hope its a Bimmersport member as the car is in really good condition. If i had a few bob I would buy it myself then swap the manual bits into my coupe haha but oh well. I know the owner. Hes a bloody good fella.

Even if he had a 3 litre in there it would not be evident to the untrained eye. Most wof testing officers would not look into it further unless it's majorly obvious by looking at it that the engine capacity is increased. You are right bud. yeah he got Ray to do it which is the best person who could possibly do the swap. I know the owner and the car. Can really vouch for it
