  3. The new rims are not quite finished yet, should be early next week, then have to get them from Auckland to Wellie I will post photos as soon as I can Really looking forward to seeing how good the car will look Barry
  4. I agree Andy, that's is why I have been searching for rims since I purchased the car in December, just wanted to get the right ones if you know what I mean, there are plenty of rims, but I am a fussy git!!

  6. You are correct, they where fitted maybe four years ago & the date stamp on them dates them at 2002, so yes they are 14 years old, but have travelled maybe 3000ks??

Well, thanks to Rohan & Jasjot from Bimmersport I will be getting a refurbished set of BBS RC090, the rims I have wanted since I saw them on Rohans M535i, Then I will remove & store the Existing rims & Michelin tyres So I am looking forward to getting the rims on my car One very happy camper By the way here is a photo of the tyre Regards Barry

It was Father's Day, was reading over the Rimutakas & the right rear blew out, so much for Michelin run flats!! yes I would really like to grab the tyre off you, as will fit as a spare, so I still have a full set, let me know if I need to take it off the rim, can pick up & sort that Thanks Barry

  13. Brent Good Morning, I am after some wheels for my E28 M535i, they are BMW Style 5 RC090, deep dish three piece rims or similar, I would like 17x8, do you have nay, or know of any??

  14. I would buy these in a flash if they were 17s, I have been searching high & low for a set to go on my E28 M535i, I would think 18s would be too big ?? Regards Barry
  15. Hey Rohan, I sent you a message today regarding mag wheels, I had a blow out in my 535 yesterday, running Michelin run flats, so would really like to get some 17 inch rims for mine, could you let me know the details & website etc that you got them from

      Hi Barry,

      Sorry to hear about the blow out.  

      I contacted the seller through eBay.  He doest have any for sale at the moment.  But here's a link on all the Style 5 wheels for sale on eBay http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC1.A0.H0.Xbbs+rc090.TRS0&_nkw=bbs+rc090&_sacat=0  Shipping is usually around 400-500 Euros to NZ.  

      The ones you want are 8x17 ET20.  But you will also have to get some hub adapters as the centre bore on the E28 is 72.56 but the Style 5 wheels have a bore of 74.1mm.

  17. Andy, I havnt had an answer, I after both rear trailing arms for my 96 328 coupe, if I don't get an answer, will have to go elsewhere, more than happy to help remove them, much prefer to buy locally!! regards barry
