Hi guys, I have an E36 328 Coupe & have had this happen a few times now, so after filling up, the gauge stays on empty, when the vehicle is started & stays like it!! I did a little bit of research & found that it is caused by having the ignition key on when filling up, the other forum I found it on, recommends to remove the key when filling up & the remedy is to remove fuses 31 & 46 with the key removed So I did this yesterday & has fixed the gauge fault, I thought it was the fuel sender, but no!! So google is your friend, I even priced up another sender Have any of you guys encountered this?? Barry
