That's what i was thinking, a fricking huge MIG letterbox...or something for the neighbourhood kids to play in

i've got a little stretch on my 225's - 18x9's but falls into that legal range! I was going to originally go with 215's but the tyre dude convinced me to go a little bigger...glad i did when a few days later these new regs came up and after just spending 1k on rubber

The hype machine is in full force i see the pre-released pics in all the previous 3-4(inc prologues) GT's have always looked far better than on release day I'm gonna wait for and see what sort of acurate reviews it gets before shelling out the $

to be perfectly honest a little OTT but good on him ! it must have gotten pretty serious to have gone to sticking crazy MFing looking nails too the road.
-
Was jusy going to say 'Deja vu' though i think i saw this in an offshore bimmer site...still good stuff!!
-
Ouch, how are your sidewalls!? Unless the police are able to tell exactly the size/width of your rim im sure they won't be able too easily penalise you...not saying they wont!

I read somewhere that the new 320d did UK to Munich and back on one tank or about 1000 miles now that's what i call economy! The Top Gear 330d 24 hour endurance video. http://www.streetfire.net/video/top-gear-s...h-20_179451.htm

You wouldn't be happy when you went to pick that up from the depot :D

If it has overheated mate, there is something wrong with your car! it won't get better by itself and the sooner you get it checked out or scanned it will definitely be better for you down the track...Personally i wouldn't be driving it too far.

Would have to agree with Clinton on this...looks pretty rough, even from the photos and hearing from APT that he blew a diff at "skidfest" doesn't give much piece of mind that it's been looked after.
-
I would do it sooner than later...if you are cautious Heino!

This is a very handy site as well http://www.bimmerdiy.com/dir/e30 Also, just googling and reading up on things esp main issues with e30's etc will help you realise when things do go wrong!

A little OT but has anyone gotten those chip repairs done before, was waiting for it too crack but it's not wanting to go!?
-
+1^^^ I would imagine somewhere in the world all these things will work...just sceptical whether they will all work for what i have!!
-
Awesome pics Grant!! How accessable are the pits in IRL!?
-
These are fricking gold boys!!!!

+1 to what these guys said^^^

Fairly sure you ned to get BMW's scanned!! I know some other cars, flash the CEL light like morse code but am fairly sure bimmers don't!
-
I used to have gtst...which got nothing like that mileage I can see you were pedantic about trying to get good kms out of it but i think too most, it just seems illogical that a 3 litre v6 can get that sort of economy...i'm honestly amazed if that is what you could get out of a tank!! My old Toyota 4age fxgt could get around 900-1000...but lets be honest it's a tiny 4 cylinder hatchback as opposed to a big 4 door saloon.
-
Have figured that out the hard way, my next BMW will more than likely have a couple more cylinders...still happy with the performance and economy from the 1.8 though. Noticing that you have a 540 which obviously differs to my e36 but plugs, points, idle control valve clean helped the economy on mine...check this site, which may help you! http://www.bimmerdiy.com/dir/e34
