Wouldn't it generally depend on the width of tyre as opposed to the offset!? I have 18x9's at 40 offset all around on 225/40/18 and they fit fine in the guards - mind you with a tiny amount of rub when fronts are on full lock. -
I have seen this before on another auction. but it has been modified! Still clever as hell though!

You are right mate, forums are for answers. but if there were a simple and easy explanation, you would have got it...in this case there's not...Plenty of info out there in the big wide web though. either download a manual or fork out the few dollars, so that in the long run you will save yourself some time and $$

I see you omitted the scooter you used to truck around in Dunners bro

I would hardly think my wee 1.8 is a performance car ...now if this were Ferrarisport i could fully understand your mentality Economy was brought up in another thread and it interested me what kind of mpg others get out of there Bmw's...I cant really see any harm in that, yeah.
-
Welcome my man!! Absolute awesome forum...plenty of really on too it guys here, who are always ready to help out
-
The hills smash the economy eh!? I'm mad surprised by the economy of Bmw's especially from you big boys!!
-
Fair enough, but in that same logic does your Volvo get the same per 100km as her Charade it was just out of interest...if per 100km is better then so be it
-
that's why i don't mind the little 318i as i put up 300 - 400 kms a fortnight as a daily for work.
-
After a discussion in another thread re; petrol economy i thought i would ask what other members get out of a tank of gas or per 100km. My 318i - approx 500-650km and the missus' - 318is 650-700km...which makes me believe mine could do with a decent tune...it is still a far cry from the 250-350km i get out of my Subaru and 300-350km out of the Paj.

A little over my budget but if by some miracle and it does not go, flick me a PM and we'll see if we can work something out. cheers

Never really got into Fifth Gear as much as Top Gear...Cool cars but no real personality. God i hope so, has been very lame so far!!
-
don't mean to be blunt but if you cant figure out how to take the head off a 318i(which is reasonably easy) I would suggest you would be better to get someone who knows bmw's to do it, or get a manual and do it that way...i think it would take too much explanation on here. good luck my man
-
Is that good or bad?? I use litres per kilometer in NZ :P also isn't the Imperial Gallon more than US Gallon is it not the other way around?
-
