Hell yeah, that looks good!! still waiting for mine to be sent. $50 lip FTW
-
Looking tight Heino, that lip does look good!!

I think it's that passionate latin, heart out on your sleeve, thing as well!! Schumacher has always been the stereotypical cold east-european type of person wheras Sennna, Barrichello, Alonso etc always are passionate - cry, laugh etc IMO Schumacher is the greatest F1 driver and though some will argue that Ferrari had dominant machinery...we only have to look at who Ayrton drove for...Lotus, Mclaren and Williams and each team at that time were very dominant (although Mclaren let Senna and Prost battle it out) The FIA also snactioned rules from 2000 to attempt to slow Ferrari and shorten the gap...which after several years and specific rule changes did in 2005 when Alonso took the crown. Was it good for F1? Definitely! would Schumacher be a 10 times F1 champion without the rule changes? Most probably!! That is why imo Schumacher is the best.

Sounds and look awesome!!! Just a shame they could not compete with the GTR-32's

A1 Auto wreckers sometimes have e30's and e28's but i think that European Auto Services you mentioned is the best in Dunedin for second hand parts. A really good place i have found in ChCh is called Eurorec. http://www.eurorec.co.nz/index.aspx I have bought a couple of Merc and Bmw parts off them and they organise cheap freight, though i have a friends dad who works for the ODT and runs back from ChCh most days and is usually happy to bring something smallish!! -
Is it just me or do the brakes look tiny on this?
-
the original person selling them??? If we could get standard lips for $50...don't you think everyone would have done it by now
-
Is it the actual bung or have the rubber o-rings fallen too bits!? similar thing happened to me and only cost 50 cents to replace!
-
That ^^^^ is what happened!!
-
Good call, and that is exactly what they are!!
-
I have seen every TG episode and this was the best episode ever in my opinion!!! I still find it interesting how Senna is still considered the greatest drivers driver of all time, even though he did some of the worst cheating in F1 wheras Michael Schumacher is hated, basically for the same thing... Oh...and too those who dis the 4 and 6 cylinder cars, How much power were those Honda 1.5 litres putting out

HOLY CRAP This thread has got angry the past day!! We live in the city and have a resident car park, some women without the resident card/sticker parked exactly like this for at least an hour, when i came back home and it was still there i pulled my truck right up behind it and blocked her in then went about the rest of my day in my other car. 3 or 4 hours later i came back home and my neighbour said she had been asking the whole street I left a note on her car explaining why i did it...mission accomplished

My rant...It fricken pisses me off when its a blatant bang into your door, a women who pulled next too me in the supermarket banged her door into my brand new paint job, i looked at her and she threw her hands in the air like "oh well" boy was i fuming!! I jumped out cussing and cursing and checked the door, there was so much room but she had to swing her door right open!! it left a mark but no real damage that wouldnt buff out. I still had to go nuts at her arrogance...i said i hope you have insurance as you just damaged my new 5k paint job...which actually cost 3 (but that's not the point) i asked for her name and address (which she refused) so took a photo of her license plate and told her that she's leaving the scene of an accident i didn't pursue anything but was just being a c@#t at her rudeness. A simple mouthed "sorry" through the windows would have kept me calm grrrrrr
-
Very fiddly and annoying, that one!
-
Fully true!!!! I used to always use VTNZ with the thought that they don't do mechanical work so won't pull you on tiny things...i was wrong! I go to a reputable garage now to do my WOF's and work.
-
Still a good idea though, cheap alternative to the fakes!
-
I think the trouble is OT got someone else to send them, if we could find the source or garden shop that sells them in the states we would get a group buy for hella cheap...$50 still isn't too bad.
