  1. Last year i watched it on www.adthe.net so im assuming it will be streamed again!
  2. That's true! We were doing groceries, alcohol, petrol, appliance's and bills etc and going out of our way to collect fly buys and was gutted at all we could get, after spending so much. I use AA rewards more for discount off my car insurance/AA menbership and i think it works out for every 2k spent on points you get $20 deducted from my insurance/AA last year with rewards my AA was fully paid for plus about $100 off my insurance for the year. Oh and you get discount of loads of places with an AA card. I guess each too their own and im sure many use both, i just cant be bothered with spending 10k to get a few free movie tickets
  3. A few years ago, i worked out that we must of spent 30-40k that year on fly buy point retailers/bill providers and only got enough points to buy a cast iron frying pan and something else small for the kitchen...after that i rarely bother with pulling my fly buy card out anymore! How many points does a movie ticket cost?
  4. Of?? They are not on the car right now because of the rubbing...but will get some pics up once they are all good!
  5. Thanks Jono for clearing the legal cert and spacers issue...and cheers glenn will give you a buzz later on this afternoon, i think that the steering rack spacers seem my best bet! cheers

    Actual Speed

Dude 140 past cops...you obviously don't value your license as much as i do My friend checked my cars speeds at 50, and my Bimmer was out by approx 6, my Subby by 3 and Paj by 11
  7. That would be perfect and would rectify my issue!! Does anyone know if these can be purchased?
  8. I use 95 or 98 in my Subaru and Evo Pajero...the e36 gets 91(doesn't need any thing more ) I usually go too BP's as they do AA rewards and i find Fly buys points are useless!
  9. lol was just looking through that...from what i can tell any spacers over 20mm need to be certified, so any under do not...I think!
  10. I bought the wheels from e-bay, and did do some investigating whether the 5x120-40 offset would fit an e36 and everyone i spoke too seemed to be 99% positive they would fit. it's on 245/40/18's but i doubt going smaller and stretching would of made much difference! Does anyone know of or have a link re the certification needs with spacers??
  11. Just wondering, if i used spacers that were say 5mm would the Wof testers notice that small a spacer and also would i need to space the rears as well?
  12. Hey guys, today i got my spanking new 18x9's for my e36 and installed them on the car. I took it for a little drive and on full lock i could hear the sound of rubber rubbing so i went home and had a look and found that on full lock the inside of the tyre is rubbing on the stabiliser arm(if that's what it's called) it's only within 5-10mm of being on full lock that it touches but i know that will fail it from getting a WOF...and anyways i'm not keen on driving with the risk of it touching! The offset is 40 and there is room within the guards, what i'm wondering is...if there is a way to shorten the steering lock from going as far and touching or would spacers rectify the problem? Cheers
  13. You're right that does look good, how did you mount the mesh?
  14. Wheel balance is a common problem and or those weights used to balance your tyres/rims. i've had one of those come of before and messed up the balance, but as mark said it could be a number of things!
  15. Christ!! that's a machine... Welcome too Bimmersport mate!
  16. Too late for me now though...40 bucks would have been much better then the 300-400 it's gonna cost to get the panel repainted! Live and learn i guess
  17. Very VERY cool collection you have there mate!! Welcome too Bimmersport.
  18. I had the proper rolling guard tool... A baseball bat!!! I have never even heard of a guard rolling tool!
  19. Today i took my Subby for a warrant but it failed as the rims were past the guard, about 5mm...i went home pissed off and rolled the guards(in a rush) got to the last one and a dirty crack popped in my one month old paint job arghhh. Stupid me!!! So, what do's or don'ts do you guys have for people rolling guards? Mine is take your time!!!!
  20. I use Silvo on my stainless steel lips and then use a couple of coats of Mothers wheel wax, i find that they only need to be cleaned every 2-3 weeks! A little OT but does anyone know if Acid or non acid wheel cleaner works best.
  21. Convert bro, but keep a subby to play with!!
  22. It says Diamond-shwartz but i'm assuming that's the actual colour of the car the skirts and bumper are more of a dull grey!
  23. Mainfreight, Auckland to Dunedin door to door I was quoted $100-120 ended up costing me $145 so don't take their quote as word!
  24. Hey guys, i have done a bit of a search on where to find the colour code/name for my standard sides and bumper, as it could do with a slight touch up as opposed to a full respray. Can anyone tell or forward me a link where i can find this. Cheers
