  1. oops thats @ kingkarl and tastic lol
  2. I'm really addicted to carbonated bottled water and have smashed at least 40 1.5 litre bottles in the past week, had 2 recycling bins full of bottles...should just buy a soda stream maker to save the $
  3. I think you really need to find out the offset! Holden pcd are 5x120 which i know fits e36 and e46's the rubber should be ok as mine is on 235/40/18's...mind you slightly stretched, so i wouldn't think would put the speedo out!
  4. Could be keen, just don't know if my 18 x 9's would rub on the guard! Can you flick me a pic to see how low it dropped yours? Chur
  5. Just a thought, but at that price, it could be a repo! Turners when they sell repos, generally don't go too to much effort and the repo company only goes for the money owed to them...
  6. Hey guys was just searching through TM and came across some E36 Factory alloys for 100 bucks...just thought i'd let ya's know! http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=280297761
  7. I think they look smaller on as thay have the Bmw emblem wheras the others don't.
  8. Damn those are sweet...if only i hadn't spent 2k on 18's and rubber last week, may have to jump on the TM war for these and flick my 18's
  9. Yep, i have the same rattle mainly when i drive over light bumps...will check the shock mounts when i have some time!
  10. I fully agree! I have a double BSC in Comp science and Psychology...but the likliness of a job in either of those fields in Dunedin is pretty much nil. I worked in the UK and Europe for a few years but decided NZ and Dunedin is home...so i made the choice to come back to a place that has no work in my fields and have def had to broaden my horizon(work wise) and though i'm now working in a job that pays probably a third to a half of what i could make, i am enjoying my job thouroughly!!
  11. Damn that looks good!! Anyone have an idea on what that colour is?
  12. Thanks mate, i'll give Ray a call...there's nothing on TM and the only one i can find in dunners is in av condition!
  13. I had a women at the supermarket open her door into my NEWLY sprayed Legacy, quite hard! she then put her arms in the air without wording anything that seemed like an apology...man was i furious!! I jumped out of the car to see the damage...she locked the doors lol probably thinking i was gonna road rage her ass but continued acting like it was nothing!! Thank god it buffed out.
  14. Hi Ray, was just wondering if you have a fan sheath (if that's what you call it) that covers the fan to the radiator for a 92 e36? Cheers Cliff
  15. I know, we are in similar circumstances too but if you had have read the whole article, it was outlining people (who are in a comfortable position) twisting the system... not normal joe bloggs family earning 100k per year.
  16. I don't think these type of people are living cheque to cheque but are certainly abusing the system far more than those on a benefit!!! http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/6...ir-tax-english/
  17. Why does it matter about the tone of this thread?? At the end of the day the guy is a criminal who has stolen a huge amount of money...maybe he should have thought about what would happen to his friends and family before committing fraud... Feel sorry for the family, but not for the guy in question!
  18. Me too...I would have bought them if i hadn't just bought some 18's and rubber
  19. In some ways i fully agree with the reform, particularly being tougher on "long term" benefit users and abusers. When i came back from the UK at the end of 08 i had to go on a benefit for 5 months not because i was lazy. but that there was absolutly nothing out there! Some weeks i was sending 40-50 job applications and most i was not even hearing back about...if it were not for the benefit i would have been in some trouble! So there are pros and cons to this reform, but the way i see it one year should be enough time to find work...if you want it that is!!
  20. cheers mate i have a service booked in for monday, so they can look at that while its in, was only thinking stop leak as a temp solution...with the hope that someone on the forums had a good idea what was wrong!! though it does seem to be working.
  21. Ok update: Drove to town to get some radiator flush yesterday and when i got home i noticed water leaking from the radiator, at the seam where the aluminium and plastic combine at the very bottom-next to the empty valve. Because yesterday was Otago Anny not many places were open so bought a radiator stop leak from supercheap after flushing and putting the stop leak, there was no more leak...until this morning when probably about 500ml-1litre was out of the radiator, and no water on the ground at all!! What i'm still not sure about is how oil would have gotten in, in the first place and where has the water(even though small amount gone)?? Oil is still fine, level etc no change and no milkyness! Cheers
  22. Can anyone tell me if it is still ok to drive it this way?? I have kind of hori flushed the radiator but plan on doing a proper one tomorrow and have also dropped some nulon engine stop leak as well. chur
