Just wanted to update this, I've purchased this car - it needs some TLC but it has been very well taken care of mechanically (BM Workshop history) previous owner is an absolute legend and BMW enthusiast with a wealth of knowledge.
I will admit it took some convincing for him to sell the car but happy i got it over the line.
Damn we have similar taste haha - you move the M325i on?
Can't wait to see it at a local event.

Depends on the cloth design of course, but when dropping a bit of coin to fully reupholster my E30, cloth was the only option for me, Uberkaro to be specific.
Houndstooth and some of the limited edition Mtech cloths are also highly desireable.
Black leather is the safest (universally popular) overall and seems like it wears a little better in general, as you can redye / spray it far more cost effectively than a full reupholster ($5-10k).

Its a very nice car, no doubt, but the reupholstery on the 318i Touring makes me very hapy I stumped for all original BMW fabric for my retrim - looks like spotlight or corolla fabric.

$20k, damn, almost had a flutter last minute with the E30 resto fund 😬

Changed the rear bump stops on the F31 - first time wrenching on a newer BMW - was quite pleasant dealing with 10 year old bolts, rather thn 35 year old ones.

Was heading into town in the E30 this morning and a Long Beach Blue OG M2 accompanied me most of the way from Birkenhead - not sure if it was a member.
Assuming not as he ignored me at the lights 😂
One of the few 'modern' BMWs I would swap to I think.

The incredible G80/G81 Colours more than make up for the styling IMO

Which M3 did he buy? Although guess it won't be long before it is revealed

Saw that the other day - did think that was a great looking E82!

Very hard to say - only one I've seen for sale on Trade Me that was in the $60k range (who knows if any of the $100k plus asking ones have sold, and for what behind closed doors?) was that yellow one a few years back with the wrong interior and fibreglass bits, desparate for TLC.
Given the market for toys, if you really have to sell it your expecations would need to be realistic.
If its a minter, get some horny photos, put it on Collecting Cars and roll the dice?
An Australian (Ex Auckland car) 1987 LHD one with 120km sold for $120k a few days ago - a few of us will have seen this one in the flesh - very nice, tastefully modified.

Looks fantastic! interested to see how it wears in a few months?
I did my Mtech2 wheel myself (leather dye then a matte clear) and it looked spectacular ofr a while, but gets shiny again quite quickly.

Hard to say without knowing the reserve...
Its an N54 / PFL (although seems most manuals are).

I had been surprised that one had been sitting around so long, but never realised the mileage was very much in question and its not actually an NZ New M325i, but a UK import sport.
Very clean, but a shame the retrimmed Houndstooth has the stitched in ///M logo on it - I've got the OEM Mtechnic seat badges pinned in mine but at least you can pull those off if they are not to taste.
And yes, wheels look like they need the 'brake dust' cleaned off 🤣

Hi @modz may be needing to do this swap to sort the clapped rack in my M20 E30...
Are these used for manifold clearance primarily, or shorter length? (have seen people remove the stock coupler bushing to achieve a similar result).
Cheers!
