Next up would be loot boxes that people can discover in augmented reality, then pay for them to unlock something like an extra 1bhp in performance.

I noticed condensation on 3 of 4 corners. Probably the 4th one has it too. The front left seems to have it worst.
-
Would anyone happen to know how much it costs to fix the condensation issue on headlights & rear lights? Just wanted to get an indication before I walk into a mechanic's shop. What I've read online makes this seem too complicated for me :p

I'm in the same boat as you, so not 100% ready yet. Hope it goes to a good owner. 😂

Oh my, this is tempting indeed as it's within budget. Is this "too good to turn down" or "too good to be true"?. In my opinion this is like the forgotten child between the cheaper 116 and much loved 135. Someone please buy it or talk me out of it 😅 https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/125i/listing/3662832549

I can't remember the exact numbers now but the gains would be similar to what the 120i puts out.

I didn't have the same experience you did but maybe I was lucky. Like what M3AN said, if they annoyed you then go somewhere with better customer service. Having said that, the next time I need something checked or done with my car I may try M Tech Auto as getting to and from EuroSurgeon is a pain the arse via public transport (I'm based out west). I went to them because I had a tune done by their performance guys nearby. As for the Dunlop tyres, the two places I remember them being available are Lincoln Tyre Centre in Henderson (where I got mine) and No Cams in the east. Though if you find a better deal elsewhere, then go there. Hope this helps

I've got these on 18" too. No complaints so far based on daily driving, and an enthusiastic drive from Howick down to and past Kaiaua via the coastal route. @ciderbeard

Which one? Time to let my imagination run a bit ... 😂

I wasn't expecting Japanese levels of perceived reliability. Was just lamenting my bad luck :p

I accompanied my car on a tow truck today. What an odd experience seeing my own car in the truck's rear view. Tow Truck Guy tells me he tows more BMWs than anything else . In the past few months, I've had both low and high pressure fuel pumps fail. I wonder what the mechanic will tell me this time. I accepted BMWs don't have the same reliability reputation that Japanese cars do, and I generally keep every car I've owned in tiptop condition, and maybe it's just bad luck they both failed recently, but still... bloody hell. I didn't quite think my introduction to BMW and European cars would be like this so soon. I'm currently in the mindset of rage quitting and either buying another beemer or buying Japanese (*gasp*) again (*sigh*). What's holding me back is I've had a new set of tyres and a Stage 1 tune recently. Better calm myself down before making a silly decision 😂😭.

Oh man. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Glad you got back safely despite the long wait. This reminds me of January, but unlike you, I was unable to swerve in time.....

Just finished the route past Kaiaua fisheries (no I didn't stop for fish and chips). Drive was somewhat ruined being stuck behind a camper van and horse carrier most of the time. At least the camper van driver was nice enough to let me pass when the opportunity presented itself.

Uh oh... my current favourite is called the Brazil blend...

Thank goodness I brew my own cup on most days. I debated getting one of the "cheaper" nespresso machines when on sale, but the humble french press still serves me well

$6.5 for a medium flat white... 😲🤬😭

Hey y'all, For those of you who have done Targa tour events, how did you feel about it? I came across it after doing a search on driving routes around Auckland, and am thinking to join the tour category some time next year. It seems like fun but I wonder if my humble 116i would be out of place there 😅 Thanks for any feedback provided.

Thanks for the advice My "BMW newbie" brain forgot to check the fault code. I was told today that the fuel pump had to be replaced, and I will find out the fault code before I post here next time. Thank goodness for mechanical insurance I guess.

So, if I remember correctly, the mechanic who did my tune & service said he wasn't sure what caused the drivetrain alert, but advised me to bring the car in if the same thing happened again because I could not replicate the problem. Today, this happened (photo). A quick look at various forums revealed no solution. Then, later in the day, this happened (video). Looks like a fuel pump issue? *Sigh*...... either I bought a lemon or have the worst @$%*^&! luck..... engine stall.mp4

I hope this link helps. Their top choice is a 4k option, but I'll probably be getting the cheaper garmin mini 2. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-dash-cam/

Bloody hell..... 🤣🤣🤣

Let's ask him :). Hey @qube. Have you sold your M135i or did you decide to keep it?

I remember this. It tried to kill him... 🤣🤣🤣
