Boy that looks bad, I think you probably need new lights to fix that. Not sure a rotary sander is the best idea just go by hand

Cars on Sunday Drive are just stupid pricing, I believe they sell on consignment mostly

Never been happy with the way this car shifted gears but after perservering with different gearbox oils and knobs I am pleased to say I am now happy. Turns out the final piece to the puzzle was a gen ZHP weighted knob, I am sure I probably have worn bushings in there but it's much much better. Would not have thought a knob would make such a difference. Also if anyone is considering Wipertech blades I can report I am happy with mine.

N55 is a much more reliable engine, the ZF8 is just a peach, have driven this combo a bunch. Some horribly modded and abused 135i's out there just like 335i's urgh 😋 M135 all day for me.

Hi All Anybody potentially interested in a swap for my 07 130i manual , 136k , very tidy, no known issues, 135is wheels with PS5's, standard aside from intake boot and a K&N, more details on request, I have no doubt a manual 130i will be a sought after car in the future, last of the NA 6cyl manuals. Great car, I have shocked a few much more powerful and expensive cars many times :), people just think it's a nana 1 series but if you know you know. I am keen to step back in time to either an E39 540i , E36 328 or 325 or E46 330i manual, I just like older cars I find the newer stuff bland and a bit soulless but I am an old man

Auto/man ? few more details please ?

The Kiwicarlife guy loves his M135

Set of pretty shabby style 65 reps E39 I have run these for a while on my E39 no issues, 225 40 chinese tyres but plenty of thread. Look good from 5m 500 ono , HMU if you would like more detailed pics

Picked up a set of gen ACS type 2's, fitted them with Firestones and I must say I am impressed with them for the money. Loving the old school look, I know it's only a 528 but I love this car, it got me into Bimmers and wrenching myself It's just such a nice cruiser If anyone is after a set of banged up style 65 reps let me know.

Having done all of this recently just ensure you bleed the system properly when finished, plenty of guides online.

Did a run from Wellington to Havelock using the Gentle Annie route, if you have not driven this road I highly recommend, superb !

Gold caps look the business

ok cheers might have a look inside it at the weekend

Am I right in thinking there is/was an issue with water pooling up in the headlight housing and drowning the ballast ? I have a flicky headlight after parking outside for 3 weeks while the E39 underwent some love in the garage.

How diificult a job is this Jacko ? I would rate my wrenching at say a 6 out of 10

Hi Guys Struggling to find the correct answer online. Can I just fit these straight up to my prefacelfit ? Pre facelift has the seperate bulb holder I know but these look like they should fit or am I missing something ? I have some aftermarket ones which fitted fine but are just a bit shabby for my liking .https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/exterior/listing/4832459688

I think I need to drive one, quite fancy an e60 530d touring. I often look at the German autotrader where of course there are many diesels, some with huge miles yet still retaining value. Germans appear to maintain vehicles much better than here

Thanks ! What's the drawbacks then, just the sound ?

Just curious here why would you buy a 330D over a 330i
-
As above however I think that's a cool as hell daily This will not be a fast vehicle if that's a concern, my e39 528i is slow, this barge will be even slower. Unless you are wrenching yourself any old BMW is a potential money pit. E39 530i or E46 330i would be my alternatives.

I like him, I think his videos are excellent.
