Ima go cut my springs and set fire to my e32. holla.
-
I imported mine from Maximum PSI. I didnt try segedins but I tryed other ARP dealers in NZ and nobody had them in stock and they were more expensive than importing them myself. You can sometimes pick up a cheap set off ebay, but make sure they are the newer ARP 2000 type.
-
Was there any prep done to the block or head before installing the MLS? Where abouts did it leak? Did you use standard head bolts or ARP's? I am curious as I am worried that my MLS will leak.
-
Will throw in the MAF aswell. Needs new mesh on one side (just clips in)
-
Bump. Cutting this up in a week or so if it does not sell.

Running intake cam on both intake and exhaust side. Non vanos intake cam is same specs as s52 (? usa anyway) exhaust cam. So get non vanos intake cam, machine the front down a few mils and you can fit it in the exhaust side. Then get your current intake cam reground to s50 specs (or whatever you want). Or just run both standard intake cams, seems to be popular in the over seas. Cheap cam upgrade.

In the video they dont wear seat belts.

What was the idea of running a thicker mls on an otherwise stock engine?
-
The firewall / c101 plug is different. You can either add the required plug to the car side, or cut the harness side off and put the correct plug on that end.
-
The E34 harness is not long enough to put the ECU in the cabin and will have to sit in the battery tray. You will need to water proof the ECU somehow. Once you cut the plastic housings off the e36 loom you can put the ecu on either side.
-
Wiring loom to suit e30 facelift and m50b25 non vanos. Was running in my car perfectly, which is a 89 facelift, no ABS. Loom has been stripped down and no longer has auto trans wires, diagnostics port or charcoal evap purge valve wires. Includes ECU. $150 for the lot. Be in quick before I chop it up and use it with my haltech.
-
Err, dosent the E36 one fit better? You need to cut the plastic off it etc, but the wires to the ecu are longer and allow you to run the ecu in the cabin.
-
I highly doubt you can do 120kph with a getrag 240 in 2nd gear and a 4.45 without going over 6250rpm.
-
120kph in 2nd gear? What ratio diff do you have?
-
Started assembling engine. BMW Hamilton gave me the wrong f**king dowels for the head / block. Slightly pissed off.
-
Im not sure, will have to wait and see if it plays up again.

Get someone to nick a handful from pick a part

Its running now. NFI what the problem was. Had fuel and spark last night and wouldnt run, checked the timing chain this morning, put it all back together, pulled the ECU out and checked for signs of water, put it back together and was going to check for fuel and spark again but it started up fine so yeah. Took it for a wheelie round the block and its going fine.
