Hi all, just putting it out there that im looking for another trans. last weekend heard/felt a largish crunchy-thud sound from the underneath and the trans switching into limp mode,so guessing its toast. is this a common fault? dont have any more parts in stock,especially the later stuff-so if anyone has one...cheers M

hi all, scratching round the garage yesterday i came across a 928 booster. i have no use for it currently but know someone out there will be doing a e30- m5x conversion at some stage. its unpainted/bit rusty but will clean-up nice. $100 cheers marty

now that the e28 is sold,best to move these on also. was hoping to keep 'em for that eventual 540-750i purchase, but who knows when thats going to happen. basic details are; 17x8.5 ,offset is well hidden as i cant find any numbers. came off an e34, so will fit e23,e24,e28,e34,32. for the e39 etc the bore will need modifying some scrapes/rash and flaky paint but good tread,6mm+ looking for $500 some pics of what they look like

hi all, this little project has been sitting around for while gathering dust in the back of the packing shed for a year or 2 until recently. decided to get her up and running with the last of the engines/looms/ecus/exhausts etc laying about as my place is up for sale, which means i need to shift at some point. which means i'll be losing the hoist i have in the garage:(( everything was going to plan,that was until someone actually signed on the bottem line a couple of days back,so the reality is hitting home that i cant finish the project and cant bank on being able to take everything with me. so it needs to go the details; registration is live and is on hold was a 525e model,no AC, manual winders on roof and windows i fitted a e34 3.5L engine with e34 loom and ecu. it starts/runs/drives fine fitted manual pedals and g/box flywheel is 7kg,so a light weight custom driveshaft made and fitted.(couldnt locate a factory unit) fitted e34 front seats with oem first aid kit,e34 front brakes and a short shifter. a full e34 tool tray in the boot comes with a set of 16" seven spoke alloys.7mm of thread 'toyo proxies' very tidy rust wise,but has a couple of dings/nothing major. paint a little thin on the roof and bonnet sunroof is 99% rust free-a rarity these days from what i can see,only needs to 3 things doing to it to 'finish' (if there is such a thing) only needs the exhaust to be fitted up into its cavity as the towbar is in the way at present/was going to keep the bar on it, new owner can decide. and the bonnet cable snapped/ needs replacing. 3-hook up the electric fan to keep it cool in traffic. the e36 radiator does a good job up to a point. wanted to keep the car as original as poss with tastfull updates to keep it as a tidy cruiser looking for $1500 for an extra $500 the car comes with these, 17"s with 7odd mm of thread would look fantastic dropped by 30-40 mm

e28 race car, GROUP A ready http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=554936775 above is the link for the trade me add.but sure most of you have see it basically, I have no time to drive on the track-ever. was booked to to go puke with brent etc again, and work had other ideas,again. had enough. all the details are on the link, yes it needs finishing. but it drives,and after the very resent diff change from a 3.07 to 3.64 (in view to go to puke etc) its painfully quick. that's around the drury cercut. its listed for 20,000, but it needs to move on. offers? nothing stupid please. yes, can take it for test drives etc, do not ask- if it's wet-you will crash

yes,im still here. have a reg on hold 528,running. also a rolling shell-tidy/very little rust 021 438 735 its all there,started it today to give it the once over with the broom,but died soon after. guess the plugs fouled. previous owner fitted a new ali radiator and has a rare factory cruise control/havnt tried it, should work(??).good glass all round.brake bomb could need to be looked at(have a spare) as the pedal is very long.bit of a scrape/dent on the right front corner of bonnet,pic doesn't show it very well got other seats,as drivers is showing alittle wear,have a better rear bumper and have a stash of rust free doors for extra.$500 as is
