so the g'boxes have arrived and are looking for new homes. have an engine that has 220k on and can be heard running etc. engine will come complete with looms,ecu(s),mounts etc box will have a throw-out bearing,c-fork,slave cylinder,clutch/pressure plate an flywheel, shifter mech with g/knob,doughnut,drive shaft and crossmember all the bits for $6000 cheers m

they required me to fit 2 hoops last week. one behind the gearbox/dougnut and one behind the hangerbearing. new regulations dont see the hanger bearing bracket as being enough to contain the driveshaft by its self,if something would happen to go amiss. nice install BTW, tidy indeed

now that the e28 turbo is 99% finished its time to think of the next project.. got this sitting under the desk for the last few weeks. got several engines/cars to play with so everything is optional theres a nice e34 finishing tonight on TM in christchurch, but not enough funds to buy and install,so we will have to wait for another. so,Q is, what engine should i fit this puppy to/in e34 m30? old tech but plenty of room to play,and they go good with alittle boost e36 m50? tight engine bay,but that just adds to the fun e34/e39 m60? havent lifted the lid on one yet,maybe have a gander tomorrow intercooler is a must.probably/most likely water to air kits are definately an option,when that is,thats another matter votes? cheers m

head all torqued up with a new MSL HG had to make a new exhaust mani,first one is alittle worse for wear,also abit lighter low mount setup,hopefully this one wont have the smoke issues the first attempt had, couple mods made to the sump have made a good difference so far(yes it runs again)(yay)
