Hi all, getting sick of fixing the wifes e34. need to buy another.she prefers an auto. needs to be tidy and have air-con working. can fix minor stuff.have spare car. any colour is fine,any interior,even blue cheers m 021 438 735 ed;this should be in the wanted section

i got a m30 box sitting in my shed.

also from what i have heard, nitrogen is colder then air. or starts off cooler and doesnt heat up as much as the normal air in the tire. normal air fills temps go up,the pressure increases.heard of guys setting up at 32psi,drive hard,check only to be round the 50 or more so a nitrogen fill this helps keep the tire run a cooler temps. espesially when running at mach 2. or so i've heard m is this making sense??

crappy body and needed alot of $$'s to be spent. handled not to bad for a 1k suspension upgrade. went a WHOLE LOT BETTER then the standard 220hp motor. and alittle exciting in the wet. wouldnt mind doing another e28 turbo project.in my next lifetime

if your planning a turbo setup,save your money,for now. live with 100hp and do the convertion properly,later. m

based in an m30,which i believe isnt much more. 230 bearings 250 rings 240 gasket/seal set. cam belt ?? 120 block decking 80 head plain head studs 350-400 if you go this way 100 oil fittings 50 drain welding + fittings + the cost of turbo,manifold,exhaust/down pipe,wastgate,RRFR,bigger injectors?,ecu or chipping? + another couple hundy of miscellanous bits and pieces think thats about it.prices will vary m

all good.only and expensive lump on an engine stand. got 4 weeks and up to 10 if i need it,ease back into work an all.not much office work as such

Dude thats exactly what been done to me. over did it as well on saturday.putting on my socks,of all things.over streched the hamstring.popping feeling. (where they scrapped off the bit they used for the graft) cheers,and yes no more tinkering. more pain then the knee.lol m

i made a cardboard template.then had a local metal shop bend/shape. back to the car,re check fitting etc. weld silver fox fabbed up a ali composite box.looked fantasic.would have used it,but not sure of the outcome when boost was applied. even after doing that several times to 'make sure' it fitted.;it now fouls the thermostat housing. but thats ok,a solution came to me while smok........ not really.lol

that or the engine temp plug isnt doing it thing. first hoses in fuel thinking its super cold,then dies from flooding the plugs. glen what are you doing at 3.30 in the morning on the internet??

I sold this guy some larger injectors(e32 3.5L).apparently ran a whole lot better. will need tuning as far as i know,could have been sorted since then. car/body looked in good/tidy condition

finished project,so far. hot side and cold side done today.would have lifted the lump back into the car by now, but had knee surgery a week or two back and its easy to over do it. if anyone's keen to give-a-hand....... folks have asked how many ponies are about to be unleashed. we will have to wait and see.but at the mo,guessing 450 at the wheel. also,it will slide easily into the e23,watch out David cheers m
