beter not be,you'll be absolutly useless pushing the pajero.
-
another big Q is, how much boost are you planning. head studs and a quality HG should be fine fine for 15psi. maybe more. O-ringing the block is done but 'usually' higher boost levels.maybe crunchy could chime in about here. water passage welding??? this is new for me. explane some

another year on and the the affectionatly named 'the warrior' is back in good health. (even more so-now that its got new oil and filter)(first oil change in 20 odd yrs by the looks of the goo) the carb was playing up and ran crappy all year,so late last month we gave its hard wear with a 15yr update by taking off the 30+yr old intake and intalling an e32 injection setup. so now its unleashing all of its 180hp didnt/couldnt manage a throttle cable setup, a bit of rope was used instead.good suggestion Lance/ thanks Brent for the computer/wires hook up etc now we have a new class for the race series; 1+1 team racing.(passanger pulls on the string for more go) had some awesome laughs.altho its bearing afew more scares from folks getting it all crossed up. an e34 fuel tank fits snuggly into the boot,so now we have long range fuel options as well. all it has to do now is rain alittle, cause its just sooo dusty. anyone care to take on the beast??

good to see its got a working towbar, nice car tho
-
could be a good day, should have the animal back on its feet by then. fingers crossed

cheers guys. since all the 'fun' toys are broken,i'll have to take the tractor out and do sum skids, before it rains again
-
its so shiney, maybe better to stop now and make a coffee table out of it. i might come over more often then and sit on your couch,to watch top gear re-runs ofcourse ooohhh the fun, nothing beats drilling etc into a old block with unknown thickness before we hit the water jacket. greatfull its not me doing the job with the cordless but then, there always liqiud metal

does it come with turbo's, or do you have a sound track with all the right noises? -
thats cool.was hoping someone got a pic of me offroading. it had to me to find the deepest puddle. it was over 6inches,my boots filled pretty qiuck. was a good choice to run a 5 pound spring, the usual 13psi would have tingled other bits of Lance (Lance, whats that smell?)

cheers James, had fun today, shame i couldnt actually finish a 10min session in the two-toned e28 . nevermind was good to see what happens when boost is applied 99% of the time. shame its back on the hoist, overheated badly a number of times and we all know where those issues lead. keep the pics coming guys-really want to see me facing the wrong way in the mud, should have have had a camera onboard. cheers m

i got the passanger seat bolted it, so can take a an extra person.(if you trust me) for get the piss tho. bring 98 octane go juice.mines thirsty. 10L+
-
depends on how much KFC has been consumed
-
yep,im still coming along. altho,i will pay on the day. i know its more, but cheap insurance. cause its a wet one i will need to pass-too dangerous. Ps, any one got a transport trailer i could borrow?? the e28 wont be certed to drive on the road and the van will be loaded with a fair amount of fuel for the day+tools etc(just in case) how much for the apartments?
-
sorry,i've stolen the driveshaft. you could retro-fit a e34/e32 loom and front harmonic hub.its tidyer
-
if the plan is to turbo it at a later stage,i would keep the 3.25,maybe go down to 3.15. yes it wont fly off the mark, but with stacks of extra torque-more then adequate to get off the line or to get into trouble alittle more to think about. as for the dual mass flywheel.they do repair them/probably not worth it
