i'd been keen on one of those keys if you have a spare or could get more? Do you know how to get the insides so they work properly

  8. a bit of a waste of money to pay to install...the hardest thing would be to mount your iphone in a way you like it. but any auto sparky would be happy to take your money. I've lost the contact details of the guy whom sold me mine, I think his name was Richard. Top bloke, excellent service even came down to check the replacement unit worked after the first one had a fault. He's Auck based. can't seem to locate his site ATM. edit: Ha! loove google desktop. found it. [email protected] http://www.gadgets4u.co.nz/
  9. I have the Goodyear Eagle's on my old wheels, and Bridgestone adrenalin's on the current wheels. Same car. Both have exceptional wet and dry weather performance. Really hard to pick between the two. Bridgestones were cheaper. So that made up my mind. I have also hammered the bridgestones around a track in my GTR and they impressed there too. 1500kg+4WD+425kw+heavy right foot. Says alot that. Have not driven Kumho's sorry.
  10. I understand you are going for the "simple" option,...... .... but IMO you will either end up with annoying wiring hanging out all over the interior advertising that you have a ipod to steal to every passing muppet or wiring it to the headunit probably cost similar to a dice unit to setup and the sound will probably suffer for it. If the is an free AUX input. Dice unit is plug & play, with just a wiring harness to hide which took all of 10 minutes to do only removing 3 bolts for the rear passenger seat to make sure it was perfect. Really not a hard job either. Sound is excellent, ipod is safe hidden in glovebox, dont take my eyes off the road when changing tracks since it's all up on the dash and I use the steering wheel controls. I know what I think is simpler.
  11. someone get this idiot on youtube ....
  12. sweet baby jesus..... the english language just got slaughtered. "mint vr4" ....& " exterior is a mess" .....
  13. I doubt repco stock them. Buy a cleaning pack too, when it comes to cleaning time remember not to over oil it. READ the instructions. http://www.knfilters.co.nz/
  14. K&N replacement airfilter in factory airbox$100-$120 - 10/15hp gain (best bang for buck, hands down) no mods - direct drop in no need to buy OEM airfilter at next service ($100 +or more) can onsell when you flick the car No downside IMO - every car I have owned has had one, or two ohyes - welcome!!

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/4795277/Sp...double-fatality around 200k's combined speed impact. Both BMW occupants have survived. looks like a e36 coupe? I say that based on the bonnet vents....

  23. there's a badge on the back...
  24. Good products but with shipping and customs charges it maybe an idea to search local first.Checkout what racebrakes can do on the same items, maybe go DBA for disc's to keep the costs down.
  25. just because it hasn't been addressed. Drilled disc's should be avoided if you have a heavy car, drive enthusiastically or if the car will see track work. These are basically for show, they do little to cool or de-gass the pads. What does happen however on the track is that cracking can occur between the holes and eventually you can have disc failure. So while it maybe ok on a light Porsche road car for motorsport applications the majority should be avoided. My advice for a fast street package would be to stay OEM disc's or reputable motorsport orientated aftermarket brand, & upgrade the pads for a good fast street pad & braided brake lines. I run slotted aftermarket Zimmerman Disc's, Stoptech steel lines & Axxis deluxe pads. Braking performance is vasty improved over factory plus at least a 50% reduction in brake dust. DBA do a decent rotor that doesn't cost the earth too Generally OEM pads do not have the best thermal properties and will fail on anything more than a couple of laps at a track. Someone on here will be able to advise on what pads work well with your car.
