sounds like you should go soundstream with a custom sealed enclosure.

A working bumper is not part of a WOF check therefore it's legal however you still are required to have your number plate mounted in such a way as that it is visible. You'd have to get a real prick of a cop to try to ping you for not having a bumper. Or be doing something stupid.

agreed! a mate of mine hired one. Could only get it to spin the back tyres by reversing hard down a hill first! Even then it struggled to do that. Very disappointing car.

don't know how long we will be there for so really just seeing if someone will make the decision for me. But yes, if it doesn't sell i'll store it for events here and possibly ship to AUS if we decide to stay.

I like anything that's a bit different. personally I'd roll the guards and camber the wheels in abit to give it a tougher look. But .......big thumbs up for owning it.

Now this sounds like a future-proofed answer.How have you set this up andy, if you don't mind me asking? I do have a few old laptops lying around... HDMI cable split tv > laptop ? You would need some software to run this? remote in from your other laptop over wifi? (sorry I'm a PC man so trying to work this back from mac world)

I've done this. Was simple with the older decoder due to better outputs. But I have made it work with MYsky HDI. few things to note. -MYSky HDI has only one HDMi output, the only other free output is AV. (well on my box anyway) -Those range extending remotes don't freakin work good enough. I've sent back two which looked the biz but didn't work at all. -Loading up the HDMI port with a splitter killed my last tv's HDMI port. I used this AV out to a channel converter box I found online which provided AV in to coaxial cable which I already had cabled through to the bedroom. You could just run AV lines all the way as they would be okay and not expensive. Don't bother with expensive cabling since the source is AV it's a waste of money. Yes the picture isn't 1080 or anything like that, but it's watchable. You can't change channels without getting out of bed, but I just watch discovery anyway. I would advise before you do anything, grab a small tv if you can and a bunch of cables and check the output's from your sky box. Test your setup before you invest in expensive cabling. All up this AV based setup cost less than $100.

+1 for the Q45 cheap to get your hands on. Alloy block so it's weight is down. Turbo it and you have easy reliable power. Plus it's a V8. Good noises and torque are what you need in a drift car.
