Factory front M-splitter? but sweet ride. Lovin the subtle rear spoiler. Looks like it was always supposed to be there.
  3. selling? after all the work on your stereo?
  4. I had my first X6 drive the other day and I have to admit I sat there for a few seconds pushing & prodding until I saw the unlock button. It's very different but i got used to it pretty quickly
  5. all things considered ... i'd take this one with more k's any day. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-418048671.htm
  6. nice car, nice condition from what you can see. only 18" wheels... (19's look way better IMO) and you would want to argue the price abit as it's def on the high end. There's plenty of these around....but you get what you pay for I guess. 47k is low. Make sure it's got service history from BMW.
  7. Any FIA approved belts are fine. they are built to a standard. I wouldn't trust anything less. Racetech do their own...I have their 6 point 3" belts and never had a problem. Upgraded from a 5 point sabelt on the advice that in the event of a front end accident the extra point stops you "submarining" in the seat & nutting yourself. Price difference between 5 & 6 wasn't alot. Never liked the lever as I've watched ppl struggle to get them done up. Hans probably will need the 3" belt to work properly...but I'm not 100% on that. Damaged or expired belts will not pass schedule A certification and are checked at each event. A recent rule change allows undamaged belts to be used for 5 years past their expiry.

    RIP Dan Weldon

  9. That would depend on the cost of the car. I'd ignore if it wasn't a significant investment and the car was checked out and in good nick.I'd stay well clear if it's a good chunk of change as any further potential owners would have the same questions. Can the owner explain? (& the loss of 56kms since import?)
  10. good for anyone with a E46 http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-414359517.htm
  11. better than the R001's ?? I have these on my M5 and racecar, you wouldn't believe the abuse I have given them in the dry and wet. Seriously impressed with the grip and on the limit performance. Always could do with more wet weather grip. I look forward to checking these new ones out. geeze I should apply for a tyre testing job....

    WRX STi's

looks nice. I like them in white. good luck.
  13. this car lives just down the road from me. I can vouch for how clean and straight it looks.
  14. my mum used to have a VR6 golf. it would be epic in one of these with a 5 spd behind it. maybe down the road something for your car? then you could sell it to me Well done anyway. Hopefully one day I will get the chance to see this baby in person.
  15. I freakin love these cars. Absolutely tastefully done too. How does it go like? what's in it?
  16. always nice to see another clean e39 on the forum. Welcome! we're taking over!

    WRX STi's

get on rexnet. V5 & V6 versions have the better heads & injectors. (still sort after for later versions) For real driving you need the centre diff controller....very expensive to retro fit so get a version with one if possible. Without they have awful understeer which requires expensive suspension mods to control Gearsets for older versions are getting hard to come by now. later model 6speed is stronger than the earlier 5 spd but also alot heavier. 6spd is a option to upgrade for earlier models. Pretty easy to work on despite the lack of room down low.

    New M5 Review

When has the M division brought out a boring car? Alittle beaten with the ugly stick....thanks Mr Bangle, ....but never boring. If it has the M badge on it, I'm sure it will have it's own special something manic to make you sweat in your socks. Bring on the V6 I say.
  19. you'd be surprised how little people pay attention to these things. When my car went missing even the police said i should ring the local tow companies to check if they had any jobs in the area. Apparently they have stolen cars by calling unwitting (or uncaring) tow companies.
  20. I could't recommend the dice system or Richard from gadgets4u enough. 2 years on my dice system still works perfectly and the sound is exceptional. Cheers Richard. I enough it every drive.
  21. I reckon if you replaced them with real schnitzer stripes it would look good. IMO anyway.
  22. It used to suit those silver / white stripes down the sides but it's a good idea to remove them incase someone wants to see if the boot's still full.I do like the colour. Welcome.
  23. yup depends on browser they all have different ways. IE > file > import and export chrome is hardest you need to actually grab the system files and manually copy them over.
