Prodrive prepped Mini with Petter Solberg driving.... I can't get better than that!

did anyone see the location of the accident? the give way he drove through, to see traffic you would need to look back quite far over your right shoulder. Now if you didn't stop but rolled through and hit the gas pedal too hard whilst your head was turned, and it was wet, I could totally see anyone loosing control of a turbo charged rwd car if they were not used to the power, or the car had "snappy" handling due to suspension modifications. Whilst I don't condone this type of driving on the street and it's a total tragedy that this has occured, locking this young kid up for the rest of his life with hardened criminal's will not save the public from this type of accident happening again. All that will do is make a real criminal from this kid. my 2c

hey this is interesting! would that work on my e39 M5?

Agreed.that is awesome footage. Just a little roll of the foot to blip the throttle. You need good pedal placement to achieve this. But that is a perfect example of how it should be done. God I love watching the full throttle shifts. Also note the safety tap people! Left braking lesson from the master:

units with clearing agency...not sure what that means but hopefully we will get them soon. Also more good news.... there are only 2 units left! meaning I should be able to pay my credit card bill...hooray! If anyone wants one then please let me know ASAP otherwise trademe they go!

Practice, practice, practice. I left foot brake in the miss's auto all the time. It makes a difference when racing especially where moving through tight, twisty parts of road which very accurate throttle / brake inputs are required and you don't need to change gear. I don't bother too much on the track, braking points are usually to big to require. But then again I have plenty of HP.

you will find most factory cars pedal's are not easy to do this, unless you have a really big feet! I find BMW's are actually alot better than japanese stuff for this! I must have bigger feet than Quailboy But the best place to get practice is all the time! so....get a good quality pedal kit...throw it in your road car. I always try to position the brake as close to the right as you can to make it easier..... sometimes it only takes a few mm closer to make all the dfference. http://www.diseno-art.com/tutorials/heel_and_toeing.html I pretty much heal toe always when the rev's are up.

That could be it, we didn't bother to stick it in a phone. YES please andy as looking at the pricing 2Degrees cards do seem the best option for these units.
-
yes there are units leftover as I had to order more to get the price for everyone. You will find my bank details & address instructions earlier in the topic. If you guys chuck your money in before the units arrive then I will honour the $180 price for you too. Once they are here they will go on trademe for $200 plus to the general public.
