Hi Would like to buy an E39 bonnet. Prefer Auckland area.
-
I was quoted a 5k premium, 17k excess. Now on the same Car I'm on a 1.6k premium and I belive 5k excess?
-
Cheap isn't the first word that comes To mind with NAC. Perhaps extortion?
-
and now I have to buy a PS3
-
Tower won't insure under 25s on anything over 1.8l I believe - Haha.
-
Looks really good. Looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Herne Bay Rd. parked in driveway. Black E30 M-Sport with silver on black german plate. Very nice
-
EDIT: Where should I buy them from? Also does anybody have the NZ Registration plate laws?
-
How much do german plates cost? And do you have to get them done in your actual number plate? Like I couldn't go get a personalised one right?v (Unless I owned that personalised plate here)
-
You can always ask to speak to the supervisor to arrange insurance I believe.
-
Looks mean, mate. Did I see you driving down Sentinel Rd. today lunchtime-ish?
-
Mods mean more likely to drive faster, more likely to be stolen etc.

I'm 18 and have comprehensive cover on my 530i and also an ML500 and 911 Turbo, on a full licence. We are insured through Lumley on a commercial insurance policy which allows private use on vehicles. It's a flat premium per year for Dad, Mum and myself to be insured on all three cars. Our insurance was organised with them through a broker as they were the only ones who could insure me on my parents cars as I need to use Mum's car occasionally and it ended up as only slightly more to have all 3 cars covered for any nominated drivers, incl. Under 25 un-named. EDIT: I thought Club Auto was the same as NAC?
-
Think I spotted Resident Know It All around 5:45pm heading out of Auckland CBD up Grafton road or something around there towards the hospital? EDIT: Saw today an M325i (?) E30 going down Sentinel Rd in Herne Bay around lunch time today. Looked good.

Worth doing for $120.00 per wheel? Or save for 18"s?
-
Just wondering if anybody can do these wheels in black? Any attempts are much appreciated.
-
Big Man's Weapon And for one that applies to me... umm - Beats My Woman (in the least violent sense)
-
I like his attempted use at proper language. Unfortunately proper language combined with broken english = fail.
-
Yeah I know they aren't gonna fall off but Dad being Dad haha. When I took my plates off to put surrounds on 'em the plates bent and I had to straighten 'em back out so yeah, just clarifying so I can use it in my argument haha. Cheers guys

E36 M3 outside La Cigale this evening in Parnell. Very nice to be parked next to a nice car because it means I don't have to worry about dings in my door
-
Hi guys I have a standard number plate which is stuck on with 3M heavy duty mounting tape. Dad has told me I have to put the backing frame and screw it back on because if it gets stolen or falls off (haha not likely) it costs like $300.00 to re-register the car or something but I always thought you could get new plates for far cheaper than that without going through the registration process. Any light shed on this would be great. Regards T

Lookin' good! EDIT: How much did it cost if you don't mind sharing and would they be able to paint wheels black?
-
Ok so today I'm home sick from school and thought I may as well fill my time with something worthwhile.. Exam study. Pfft whatever. After my doctor's appointment in 15 minutes I'm going to be re-doing my wheel centres including painting the surrounds matte black. Basically, I bought cheap CF ones on TradeMe which claim OEM fitment but of course they didn't. So I'm going to fit the CF badge into the OEM cap. Unfortunately the OEM caps are faded and stained with years of road muck, even after cleaning with Wax and Grease remover so I am going to paint them matte black
