Mum has an ML500 which is the 5.5l V8 so I'm fairly sure the same as a ML55? It's 08. Unfortunately not AMG but it's a great car IMO. It is her 3rd or 4th M Class, her first of the new shape but honestly, she loves them. We've never had any problems with any of the ones we've had. Now that I can drive hers I look for any excuse to haha. lolwut? There are some interesting mods on esstuning.com for E39s incl. steptronic improvement software and an ECU thingy which I cant remember but both looked interesting. The ECU boasted an improvement of 5hp? About 500NZD each as I recall.

How would staggered differ from non-staggered performance wise? Would I feel the diff? Btw were the M6 reps 19" or 18" ?

RE: Black and M6 reps Qutoed 2.2-2.6K for them on tyres. Quite interested but may have to opt for something a bit cheaper. I believe when I popped into to see Johno I could get a set of 19"s on tyres for around 2k IIRC. May have another look at them.
