Na mate, that's a short commute for you
-
Good going, mate. Those E9X Performance wheels are the nuts. Really want one myself but (a) they're expensive! and ( the alcantara will get hammered in daily commission... Considered getting a shabby one and refurbing it in leather though.

Looks good man, reckon a spoiler would set the rear off nicely.

If the SMG pump goes on the E60 it's not a cheap fix. Biggest consumable is obviously petrol. In my E46 M3 was getting about 14l/100kms, in the V8 M3 I'm getting around 17l/100km with the same driving style. Mate in an M5 gets about 250-300km to a $180 tank IIRC. Here's a good thread if you're serious about the change: http://www.totalmcars.com/thread/666/owning-v10-m5-17-months To conclude: It'll cost a shitload more than the E46 M3 - lol.

Looking great, Jooles - interested to hear the noise in the weekend. Planning to cert the spacers or run it like a badass?

Good tyre brand for e30 14 inch basket weaves?
Tristan replied to louistan3's topic in Wheels & Tyres
Whatever tyre you settle on, Herb Morgan in Onehunga always beats other quotes I've been given if they can get the tyre. -
Yep, bought a full E92 M3 exhaust for $32.00 lol...

If you have the sack for it, a $1 Reserve really is the most effective way to gauge what the market will pay. But then that can change on any given day based on who is browsing. If you're considering taking the $2,200 and the bid has reached in excess of that in the past (which the auction indicates), then perhaps re-list with start-price $2,200 and no reserve. That way, the worst you can do is the price you've already considered taking, but you could get more for it That's my 2c at least haha.

When I was looking at coilovers for my E46 I had settled on KW V2s or V3s. Autoquip in Penrose has these for a VERY competitive price. Even cheaper than importing them from the US (by a fair amount). These have a very good international following, and have been used by a number of board members here. In fact, one member has just put them on his E46 M3.

The M-Parallel wheels look sweet on E46s. Some cheap here! http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/46662-my-m-pars-for-sale-on-trademe/

Grilles looking good - not a fan of the EZ-LIP "splitters" but to each his own Think those wheels actually look great on the car.

Just showing that it's not a wrap... You asked the question.

Any idea of retail when they hit NZ?

'Atlantis Blue' BMW - Anyone know of any in NZ?

IND does things well. Had read about the Euro Delivery disaster. What a shocker. -
Yeah have seen that on there for awhile - Looks like a lovely car. Maybe one day.

E39 M5s can be had for $18K-$24K (more for a mint low kms example) This I'd hazard a guess at a value $30-33K ... I wouldn't be paying that though.

Ah awesome, so it is Velvet Blue. A stunning colour which I've never seen in person! Come on Sunday

'Atlantis Blue' BMW - Anyone know of any in NZ?

Hmm interesting; it's definitely an Individual colour, didn't realise it was M-Exclusive. -
Didn't know he was a co-founder of DC shoes. Impressive!
-
Hehehe. To be honest, I'm sure the hype and all that from the videos generates plenty of revenue and a lot of it will be paid for by sponsors... Sponsors who will sell lots of sugar water and shoes!

Similar but would want to fit the OEM unit from the facelift models. There is one I'm negotiating now so we'll see how that turns out It didn't bother me until I spent a day driving Mum's X5 and damn, it's just so much better. Smoother, faster, more user-friendly. And looks a hell of a lot better too CCC/CIC comparison: CIC: Here's someones retrofit if it interests you: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=43578

Clearly he's skilful but I think this one was trying too hard ... Found it pretty boring, really.
-
Yeah, it's the first thing you notice when I first got in, side-by-side with the E46 it's worlds apart. I wasn't a fan of the wavy dash but now I think it's quite sleek. Need CIC iDrive next... You going on Sunday?
-
Damn, that's a nice colour.
