Wong isn't a Japanese name. But thanks for pointing that one out.

Well done, mate. Wrapping is very labour intensive .. I need to re-do one piece and I just can't bring myself to do it again yet.
-
Not me - I am a hermit writing Summer School essays. Oh joy… and I've ended up procrastinating again.

E46 on Princes St. outside Auckland Uni around lunchtime on Style 5s with grey centre, polished lip. Looked good

Just my opinion. 3 mates with Golfs and all have gone south at 100,000kms+- costing a fortune in parts and labour. Whether they were just unlucky I don't know. The low-mileage, NZ new selling high-teens must've been a good buy.

Well, initial outlay is the largest (hopefully ) financial commitment at once. After purchase, you'd hope that servicing wouldn't be more than $1K at a time. Don't know about you or anyone else but I wouldn't be buying an R32 at 150,000+kms
-
Claims supported by his happy-pipe. $15.5K, 200,000kms, cute.
-
R32s are still $20-35K for the most part though, is that "affordable"? I wouldn't say so… but nice to hear opinions nonetheless. I standby the Alfa 159 3.2 - When I drove one it was a blast. 3 pedals combined with a nice exhaust.. mmmm
-
Haven't read responses but I quite like some of the Alfa 159s… particularly 3.2l but not sure how much they are. Edit: Read the responses

Great news if it's true but based on his official spokesperson's comments: "any news from anyone other than his doctors is to be treated as speculation" I'd like to hear it from them still.
-
Last I heard a "manual" needed 3 pedals :D
-
Great - Sounds good, mate. Cheers

Sorry didn't see this 'til just now. It looks like I'll probably be having the E92 wrapped soon by Carfolie. Will be interested to hear your take on Redline once you've done that. As for research on my behalf, it's been pretty limited.

Was out at Turners on an unrelated matter today and saw this car. Wow. Looks like a piece of sh*t to put it bluntly. Holes in bumper where splitters should be, engine bay disgusting, bird sh*t all over the back window, lots of scratches, a handful of dents. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Yup, it's out there.. covered though Three threads down from yours: http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/47804-something-for-the-shy-people/

Only reason I went to them is because they'd already done the mod that I wanted. Michael, who do you use these days? (or yourself?) I've got my OEM exhaust (unmodded) that I may change back to sometime…

Done well with Woolf although he wasn't the most pleasant character to deal with second time round.

Hope you didn't spend too much, mate. Looks like a dishonest chap. Edit: I know it's not the point but still. -
As Jooles pointed out I just came back from the US and bought one there. Now before I had a chance to use it here (went straight to the Coromandel) my younger brother blew it up without using a transformer. Seeing if anyone here has one before I send it off to Australia to be exchanged (already sent now) - cheers! Bingo

It's sad - I can imagine he appraised it poorly in a trade and is just trying to recoup his money. If not - idiot.
-
They both look bloody good.

All I could find were replica from China that didn't have high enough wattage rating lol

Read something the other day about people lightly sanding down the dot matrix. Not sure how it's worked out though.
