Frontal impact. Not deregistered, but registration does end in a couple of days. Just got a new WOF a couple weeks back. Just doing a friend a favour and listing it on behalf. Direct any questions to him on 0210624120, or I will try answer any questions I can myself. Ill let the pics speak for themselves. But other details you should know that aren't apparent on the pics, slight dent on lower bootlid and drivers seat has a small tear. Car chassis and engine have done 205000kms. Engine still going strong etc. Airbag has not deployed but airbag light has come on. Car has a new Sony headunit in. Car is an automatic. Was a strong runner before the accident. Asking $1500 firm without wheels.

Beautiful example in my fave e46 m3 colour! To do list seems spot on too!
-
Cheers bro! Hows things coming along with yours? Anything new with it?
-
Ah, makes sense now! Great looking car in the best colour!
-
Prefer the chrome grill on this colour. But a great looking car either way!
-
Not that much work compared to what the car is worth. Beautiful piece of machinery!
-
Damn. Sorry it has to go. Hopefully it goes to someone who cares for it too. GLWS

Just had a look on Pelican Parts, $38USD for both the seals and $44 for shipping. Still a fair fix for under $100 I think. Prob place an order soonish. Found that, pretty much covers all we need to know to tackle it. Doesn't look hard at all, perhaps time consuming. Haha cheers, agree with you on the lowering 100%. Been trying to justify coilovers but at $2000 including a cert not sure I can. Prob settle for lowering springs all round. F/L has its perks, but the old nose panel and grill set the car off better I reckon! Haha yeah they were great! Definitely going to use them more. Not sure how your roof spoiler stops you from doing the seal though? Unless you mean the rear windscreen seal? I meant the side windows haha. Next week we won't look so similar! Switching it up a bit. Evens out cause you win on engine and colour.
-
Agreed. Doesn't look proportional. Everything else pulls it off!
-
I agree with both of you. The manual box would be a luxury not a necessity. As much fun as it would be, for the price I'd hold off a while. Although I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you waiting for the auto to pack in haha. E: That noise though

Haha its a non oem rubber one! Hate it I prefer the suede vaders myself, but can't complain! Stock one, I believe all f/l e36 motorsports had them? When I clean it, the tri-couloured stitching shows... For a few hours till its dirty again
-
Haha yeah long overdue!! Onto next order of business... The rear window seals are driving me nuts everytime I see them!! Wonder if its a DIY job... And heres a better pic of the interior all fitted up. Still need new gaiters and shift knob.
-
Interesting indeed. How long do you reckon she will be off the road for, to fit the new box?

Finally got around to cutting the exhaust. The guys at Pit Stop New Lynn sorted it for $20 including the tips they put on. I prefer it by miles, looks a lot cleaner while still keeping the deep rumble of course.

Agreed. But as a guide maybe... http://www.sella.co.nz/motoring/cars/bmw/nbphv0/

Sorry, everything is gone except the carpets! Sorry to everyone else who has texted and PM'd too. Must've priced it too low haha.
-
Looks very tidy! Always preferred a four door m3!
-
Grey, I need to find me some black ones haha. If you need black ones I'm sure they cant be that expensive at the dealer! Text me on 0210722444.

Swapped out my interior so have all these bits leftover. Carpet and dash/console bits are all free.. Come and grab it before I dump it. All dirty but will clean up real well. Floor mats, will clean up good. Not much wear on it $20 Coupe dove leather seats and doorcards. Again its dirty but comes up real nice with a scrub. Will upload pics of fronts when I get them back. Seats are electric and heated, everything works! Passenger side airbag sensor is gone though. $150 takes them.

Wongs is in Massey St, Hamilton haha. I agree with you on the Breytons suiting the e28 more! Our differing views come in on cosmetic upgrades haha. For me it makes the whole driving experience better when you enjoy what you're in that little bit more. Having said that, the actual driveability of the car is the most important thing to me and I've had BMWorkshop go over the car and fix every single issue or upcoming issues in the three years I've owned it. A month back when someone offered to buy the car, and I looked through receipts I have, they totalled far more than what I bought the car for in parts and maintenance haha!
-
Nah I totally agree with you... I'm a massive fan of form and function. Thats why there is a huge chance that those breytons will end up on my e28 haha! In other not so exciting news, took the car for a drive to Wongs last night. The weather held up surprisingly well. Drives like that make whatever I spend on it irrelevant. And this was a shot I took today which I thought was pretty cool. The rain had town looking deserted on a weekday afternoon.

Favourite E30 in the country by far!

I'll hit up Pitstop in New Lynn maybe, the muffler shop I went to fit the muffler was adamant it cant be done though I don't see why not. The breytons are the right stud pattern for BMW's! One of the previous owners hooked me up and helped me bring it in from the UK.. You might recognise his car. He is in Auckland now looking for his next car project and I'm trying to get him to come back into a bimmer! He also had a mad clean e21 previously!
