gonna go with the rs then how much boost can they run on a stock motor??

where can i find the performance stats for the following cars: vr4 old school one subaru legacy rs old school one gsr also in wat order of speed would those be in from slowest to fastest?? thanx maybe someone knows a website i could check the stats of each vehicle?? :mosh:

have loosened the drive shaft and cable and the starter motor too will take torque converter bolts loose and take it out wats my car worth?? anyone interested itl be a while before sale because i need to save the cash dif between the bma and gsr or subi is catching my eye im not too sure yet its just an idea kinda like love at first boost with the gsr its so much fun..really impressive :mosh:

ur getting old lol wen i sed off the clock i mean off the clock :drugs: im looking for a gsr now so does anyone know someone selling one? my beema has 137000km's aprox and its a 1990 318i wit new auto box in and 2munth old jamex springs good tyres(yokohama)very tidy looked after car how much should i ask for?? i think its worth bout 4000? please advise on the gearbox question please those who know bout it thanx :mosh:

ok can see the flywheel and torque converter just behind it so are the bolts on the engine side or gearbox side ?? are they easy to get to? also using jimmy bar to pry things off so thatd work instead of a "gargantuan"screwdriver thanx

im taking the gearbox out of my bmw ive got a new one going in before i sell it just one problem ive loosened everything and the box comes down but wont come out ne ideas as to wats keeping it there??maybe resting on the torque converter?which brings me to another question can you take the torque converter out with the box and put it back in when you put the new box in or is it too hard of a job?? thanx :mosh:

bmw is a great car dont get me wrong but i feel the gsr would be more the type of car id get and yea sum1 said the 325i is bot the same performance ??i dont think so the gsr went off the clock damn quick and theres basically nothing done to it!!maybe same 0-100 as gsr but after that the gsr will piss on the bimma but a 325 is cheaper and wit a lil work would be good but stil not as quick plus 4 wheel drive is really good for traction...maybe someone here is interested in my bimma its in good nik gsr bout 8000 325=....?(5000) spend 3000 on a 325i =faster than gsr more reliable??

seriously considering selling my bmw i will post pictures and all when the time comes because i still need more money for the next car got to drive a lancer gsr last night....oh my f**k front mount BOV CAI and exhaust this thing went like mad snaps the tacho no sweat at all really considering sselling my cruiser to get one,before you turbo or do nework to your bmw i seriously recomend you drive a gsr first it might change your mind unless you want good looks from the bmw neway who here has driven a gsr and what there take on the car and maybe theres an alternative car maybe a vr4 or skyline that could for the same money be a better buy???

nah i didnt take offence im still deciding really but yea goin manual is alot of work and yea i can get an auto really cheap il do a manual once the cars actualy complete coz im looking at keeping it and i desperatly need it back on the road asap so il finish the sounds nother 500 or so and tints then nice wheels in the mean time il organise a manual or a 2.5 and box and do it then but till then gotta stick wit da auto 1.8 if im gonna go manual im gonna go bigger engine too thanx :mosh: will post pics wen the box is back in and will post more pics on sound install and mags tints etc excited! :drunk:

if i go manual im gonna loose the little bit of points i have left to keep my license im just gonna replace the box i can get one in good working order not too expensive and put it in the bimmer is going to be a cruiser from now on sucks but the cops are everywhere just gonna make it look really nice has ne1 got rims for sale or skirts and lips etc even an amp i ned one for my JBL 12"250watt rms maybe even a dvd player has crossed my mind????

hence the broken gearbox it lasted six munths of shifting manual i doubt ne gearbox from a jap car woulda lasted that long

gonna havta go with a replacement box il put in myself becasue it looks like alot of time and muni to go manual so swap the gearbox and gonna spend the moni on sum nice wheels and tints cars already been lowered and finish my sounds will post pics wen done thanx for all the help and advice :mosh: you guys rock :mosh: p.s im not 16 im 20 lol box handled well i reckon under the circumstances and the beating it recieved

need someone with the parts for a conversion and il buy it from them il even pick it up and pay cash just would really like it manual but im gonna take it apart this weekend and replace the torque converter with a friends one and see if its that is there a way i can tell the converter is damaged wen i take it out??/pics???

murks:you reckon its a converter problem because that would be great as i can organise one for cheap and put it in myself has this happened to you before and that was the problem ?? someone also mentioned my forward gear clutches could be screwed i revved up in neutral and dropped it in drive a few times but it didnt seem to feel like it was being damaged used to shift it manualy tho and i didnt rev it all the way out wen i dropped it??

does sum1 have a replacement gearbox thatl work?? please contact me thanx

had it looked at and diagnosed and it could be a damaged torque converter so im going to check that out first...but if someone here knows someone with a manual gearbox etc please contact me and let me know the price etc [email protected] thank you :mosh:

ok so 800 thats the box and conv parts...if i had a little help putting it in then of i go?

you got a manual box culd you organise the parts id need to get the gearbox in and working and take a little off the top for yourself id get it put in im not looking to put a new clutch in and all dat id take it out agen if i had too but i need the car back on the road so how much for the box and parts if possible??

yea ok the manual swap is sounding better all of a sudden but first i had it looked at by a guy who works on bmw and he sed take the torque converter out and replace it with one hes got to check if thats not the problem also take the filter out clean it and replace the fluid but as far as i can tell the fluid is full??? how much all up conversion to manual?

my cars a 318i automatic e30 the gearbox now only gets reverse and hardly moves forward just revs wats happened and how much too fix? wat could i get done to fix it?and what other options could i consider? i know manual would be good but its too expensive...than kyou for ne help

cops are dogie wouldnt they "frown" upon havn reflective tape on your number plate?

sand paper would make more damage and yea the plates are like a silver in colour so do you get silver vinyl?where could i buy sum saves me the trouble of findin sum you know

pre printed for another company but the word can be used as a custom plate so yea beats payn approx 400 for a plate aye! thanx for the advice on the white vinyl where could i get sum tho ??
